The parking is ample, the sand is lovely, not full of rocks, so ideal for sand castles. There’s dunes there as well, and lots of shoreline to walk. Bring binoculars in case you see wildlife on your walks! There’s no lifeguards. Always check the weather for beach hazard warnings and take them seriously! Lake Michigan is more like an ocean on those days. Respect the Lake.

We took a drive to the beach to admire Lake Michigan… There is handicap parking and there’s even a place where you can get up on a wheelchair and a platform to see the lake… The area is beautiful

Clean beach, pretty busy for a Tuesday morning which was great but it was a little hard to find via GPS & almost looked sketchy, glad I was wrong!
