No wonder reviews and rate is low for this precise location at Waterbury ACO. I just wish the Waterbury ACO would be more friendly kind and accessible when talking over the phone. I was the one who brought in this beautiful friendly dog today morning and who definitely understands the meaning of caring and concern of his well being(maybe because I have a dog of my own, who is my adoration) but anyway I’m trying to understand the process of finding the legit owner and making sure the dog is in safe and correct hands especially back with his owner. Apparently the ACO female staff who answered my call was not very accommodating with my questions and seem that she was not very patient as she answered. I understand that the salary pay rate does not meet the staff’s standards and expectations but if you are willing to work/be there at ACO then at least be(give) more understanding and patient(approach). Or I just simply suggest if the situation is annoyed or an everyday routine then please by all means either get retrain, retired or find a job that suits you or feel happy to work in. At the end of the day i thank you for “All” what you do and appriciate all your hard WORK!.

Worst experience ever with a rescue facility. Would not recommend them to anyone wishing to try to adopt a pet. There are plenty of other reputable facilities that work with potential adopters. This place is skid row at best. I GUESS ITS WATERBURY SO WHAT WOULD YOU EXPECT. Stay away from the WATERBURY FACILITY!! Just rude and no class with working with potential adopters that do not have a vet reference. They do more scrutiny on the good dogs and for the others you just need proof of homeowner and $50. But I'm sure those are for the unacceptable dogs that will make your life a living hell. ... Turned me off completely from doing the adopt don't shop strategy. BEWARE!!!!!! THAT SAYS EVERYTHING RIGHT THERE!!!

Saw a deceased cat on the side of the road, call animal control. The radar is down. They can’t go pick up. I just told you where he was isn’t that your job? Thanks for the help. If that sweet baby, still there tomorrow, I’ll gladly take care of the burial myself. Do better.

Had an injured and sick cat we'd found outside our home. Posted for help from any available rescues for help and got only all full at this time responses from them all. Called the Waterbury animal control and they said to bring it right in. Thank you for the officers there for the help! We hope this cat survives and finds a good home!

WORSSSST EXPERIENCE EVER! My husband and I've been calling couples time since this morning for report a skunk in front of my house, walking around in circles its there since 6am we wait the office open this morning for do the respective call for this success they only said someone go there soon that's it!! It's now almost 3 o'clock and skunk still same place waiting my kids come back from school. Absolutely bad service, they like better close this office for sure because they don't doing nothing there!!
