In Essex, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Maryland, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 6:30 am–6:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Essex is in Maryland, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Essex follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My first interaction with this groomer was over the phone with Thomas. He was friendly and took the time to listen to my concerns, so after comparing a few groomers, I decided to give them a try. My female Akita came out looking nice overall, but there were a few minor issues with her tail, chest, and face. I spoke with Thomas afterward, and he told me I could bring her back at my convenience to have those areas corrected. When I returned, I met Bailey. She explained why some of those areas may not have been done as thoroughly the first time and did a great job correcting them. I also decided to let them do some grooming on my male Akita, who can be particular about being touched in certain areas, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well he did with Bailey. After several positive interactions and one minor hiccup that they handled professionally, I plan to continue using their services. Shoutout to both Bailey and Thomas for being friendly, professional, and willing to listen to my concerns. My only complaint is the pricing. The prices listed on the website and displayed inside the business do not match what you actually pay. I think those prices should be updated so customer

We have a 10 year old multi -poo, when we first got her she was going to PetSmart for grooming and then for a few years to our veterinary office. We tried Walt's Woof Pack about a year ago. They are absolutely amazing with her grooming, she never looks like she has chops all through her hair or like they just rushed through to get her done. They call me with any changes to her grooming they have to make and I love the staff so much!! I will never take my Chloe anywhere else now we found Walt's Thank you so much for caring about our babies!

We started with daycare on Saturdays to see if Mika likes playing with other doggies...she loved loved loved it!!! Every Saturday we get excited and she knows she going to daycare to play! I get pooped out with errands and she comes home pooped out too! I was nervous for her to stay for our 2wk vacay since she is crate trained at home but the staff worked with her the first few days and she settled right in. They sent me msg updates and pics while I was in Europe. Not once did I have a worry...she was safe, happy and played all day with all her playmates. She came home with a shampoo and slept off all her fun for 2 days!! 5 stars for professional and honest caretaking of my girl! Keep up the great job and we will see ya on Saturdays!! I promise not to make ya'll jealous with my next vacay pics!

I have nothing but great things to say about Walt’s Wolf Pack. We take our beagle, Copper, there once a week for daycare. He starts barking as soon as we hit a certain section of the neighborhood because he knows where he is going. Tom and the other staff members have always treated our baby like one of their own. We have also used them for boarding. During one of his boarding stays, Copper had a medical emergency. Tom reached out to us right away and took the appropriate steps to make sure our baby was taken care of. He called, text and sent photos the whole time so we knew Copper was doing ok and in good hands while we made the 10 hour drive back home. You can always tell from the photos they post that all the dogs have a great time. They are spoiled rotten by everyone there. We are very grateful to have found a place for our baby. Pictures attached are of our boy happy at daycare, claiming his sleeping spot for boarding and totally exhausted when he comes home. You won’t be disappointed with trusting Walts Wolf Pack to care for your fur baby. 🥰

If you’re looking for a daycare that’ll make your dogs forget about you (in a good way), Walt’s Woof Pack is the place to be. My three pups know when we’re even a few blocks away from the street – they start going wild with excitement. It’s like they’ve got an internal GPS, and as soon as we pull up, they practically launch themselves out of the car to get inside. The second we walk through the door, they are running up to the staff like they've just found long-lost family. And let me tell you, they get way more excited to see Tom, Arie, and Snail than they do when I get home. Seriously, I think Bentley has a whole second family and his name is “Uncle Tom.” No joke, he knows exactly who Tom is, and I can’t tell you how much joy it brings me to see Bentley go crazy with happiness whenever he spots Tom. From regular daycare visits to last-minute boarding (thank you for saving my sanity, seriously), the experience is always amazing. It’s comforting to know my dogs are being treated with the same love and care that I would give them myself. And yes, they even get groomed here – looking fresh and fabulous every time they come home! The staff here are basically my dogs' real parents at
