About Wag Your Tail Grooming

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

Bellefonte is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Bellefonte follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We cannot say enough amazing things about Julia, the owner of Wag Your Tail Grooming! Our boy Doobie (blue merle miniature Australian Shepherd) hadn’t been groomed in close to a year due to some major life events and everything hitting us at once. We never neglected him, but life definitely got hectic — and it showed in his coat. From the moment we dropped him off, Julia was professional, understanding, and truly cared. I mentioned a few behavioral concerns, and she confidently reassured me that she’d handle him with proper techniques and patience. When we picked him up… I was honestly blown away. Doobie came out looking like a brand new dog — clean, fresh, and absolutely beautiful. Not only that, but you could tell he was comfortable and at ease, which means everything to us. Julia didn’t just groom him — she brought him back to life. He looks like the Australian Shepherd he’s meant to be again. We couldn’t be happier, and we’re beyond grateful. Thank you so much, Julia — we’re officially on a 3-month schedule now. Highly recommend Wag Your Tail Grooming!

Julia does such a great job! She was patient and gentle with my elderly, very fluffy dog who has standing limitations but needed a major grooming session. He looks amazing and his fur is now super soft and shiny. We look forward to working with her again, and highly recommend!

Julia is the best pet groomer in town hands down! She takes great care of my puppy and has never failed to make her look the cutest! I fully trust her with my dog and I never worry about how will she look afterwards. I have received so many compliments on my puppy’s groom. I’ve been referring my friends to Julia since I’ve been taking my puppy there (May 2020) and she never disappointed any. She is pretty busy and books 2 months ahead so the sooner you get in touch with her for your puppy’s groom the better.

I took my dog, Chloe, to Wag Your Tail Grooming for the first time and can't stop telling everyone how great my experience was. I always wait too long to have her groomed. Chloe looks the best she ever has after being groomed. Thanks so much, Julia.
