For a small park, it's very nice. I can never keep my dog for too long because the lack of shade everywhere except the picnic table is brutal. A shade structure is almost necessary, and would certainly be appreciated, as vocalized by many others I've encountered at the park.

Smaller dog park with shade and gravel and Artificial grass. Friendly dogs and a small and large area for pups. With the beach just across the street, would be great if the city would allow access for off leash dogs in certain segments of the stretch of beach, use the light poles as delineated marks of dog friendly beach areas. Corpus has excellent dog parks inc this and Bill Witt. Would love to see larger spaces for dogs and hotels without weight restrictions near these lively park areas to have more of them. As someone from out of town, this area would be great to stay in and walk around the restaurants.

Very clean, but not very big. Two areas for big dogs (over 35lbs) and small dogs under 35.

The only reason why this “dog park” is getting two stars is due to the cleanliness. It is by far the cleanest dog park I’ve ever seen. It’s so clean due to just how microscopic it is. There’s ONE bench on each side (small and big dogs). There is only a tiny patch of green. I’d be better off to let my dog run around in my personal back yard-as it is MUCH larger. Overall very disappointed by the disproportionally shown photos.
