Very Important Paws is one of the pet groomers listed in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The business is registered at 928 St Lucie W Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as pet sitter, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

I highly recommend this grooming service! Ana takes such great care of my 15 year old Yorkie, Jilly! She is very patient with her and comes right to your door, since it’s a mobile service. Her prices are great, about $65 (depending on the size of your dog) & I leave a $20 tip because she’s so amazing! Jilly always comes back looking, smelling, and feeling great! Thanks Ana!

⚠️ Warning: VIPaws Mobile Groomer (Anna) injured my senior dog ⚠️ Warning ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ Update!!! My dogs back legs do not work so well anymore. On 5 meds that help but may still have to put him down. I’ve just had the worst experience with Anna from VIPaws Mobile Groomer. She has groomed my dog several times before. My small Maltese/Poodle mix will be 16 in October, and due to his age, arthritis, and medical condition, I trusted her to be gentle. I was never fully satisfied with how she groomed him in the past — shaving his fur down to the skin with no regard for breed-appropriate grooming. Still, because my dog knew her and I wanted him comfortable in his senior years, I continued. I thought she would always be gentle. This time, however, she broke my dog’s tail at the tip, nicked his skin (causing bleeding), and left him traumatized. His tail shook like a rattlesnake afterward. When I kindly spoke with her and requested a refund for both the grooming and the vet bill, she was extremely rude. She claimed I had signed paperwork releasing her from responsibility for “accidents.” At no point did I agree that breaking a bone or rough handling was acceptable. She is not a veterinarian

Ana has done a fantastic job grooming and developed a great rapport immediately with our dog Coco where other groomers had trouble. Our dog Coco has special needs which Ana handles without any problem at all and takes great control of taking good care of her job at hand. Ana has been on time and price is very reasonable. Also a great convenience especially for special needs & handicapped small dogs. Great service!

VIP service for you loved ones. She takes care of your dog like if it was hers. I am new to PSL and will obviously be a loyal customer. I recommend the grooming service to anyone without hesitation.

Ana is just the best! She is so sweet and takes her time in understanding what you want for your dog. She is really good, she always remembers every detail. My two little Avengers Thor and Loki always come out looking wonderful! I'm really comfortable taking my dogs here. I've never had any kind of negative experience with Fur Dogs Only. Overall a great team that does a great job! the taxi service is very convenient. I don't know what they do at the daycare, but my little two always want to come back. Over all amazing staff and service.
