VEG ER for Pets

Lots of emotions this weekend, we basically spent Friday to Sunday onsite. Having said that, our experience was once again phenomenal. We just can’t say enough nice things about the staff and the quality of care at VEG. It’s not our first rodeo there. They saved our Iggy for now. She means the world to us, and it seems she grew on a few on the team there.

We have been through many emergency rooms for Dogs, regular vets for Dogs and our Bella is 16 1/2 with stage five lymphoma so you can imagine we have been through many different places for different reasons and Veg is just different, special and very good Different. We have found that one of the most important things for us as Pet parents, as well as Dogs in general is making sure that they are not separated at their most desperate times and it appears VEG has solved those issues by allowing us to be with her every moment of her eight hour journey. While this has just begun I do feel it was the right decision to come here and the staff has been fabulous. Highly recommend.

I would like to highly recommend and thank the emergency animal hospital VEG ER in White Plains on Tarrytown Road. My newly adopted cat needed emergency care for a surprise bladder issue on Sunday morning and again on Monday night. The vets, vet techs and staff there were so amazing and our boy got the best care. Please visit them if your pet needs emergency care. I was blown away by their thorough care and extremely good bed side manners and kindness with humans and animals. You can tell these people love animals and their jobs. Also please keep Rubio in your prayers for continued healing. Thanks! Before and after pictures thanks to VEG ER in White Plains! AAA++++++++++++ 🐾💛🐈

VEG White Plains was wonderful to us during two emergency visits for my dog, Didi. From the moment we walked in, everyone was kind, patient, and genuinely caring. Emergency vet visits are never easy, but the entire team made a stressful situation feel much more manageable. Pricing was also very fair for emergency care, which I really appreciated. What stood out most was how thorough they were. They clearly explained procedures, provided detailed notes and billing, followed up afterward to check on Didi, and even identified a heart concern that our regular vet had not yet caught. I truly felt like they were paying attention to the full picture of her health, not just the immediate issue. I especially want to recognize Samantha DiFazio. She was absolutely amazing throughout the entire experience. Calm, compassionate, patient, and incredibly reassuring — the type of person who instantly makes you feel like your pet is in good hands. She consistently checked in, made sure everything was going smoothly, and treated both us and Didi with genuine care. Her expertise is unmatched. VEG is lucky to have someone like her representing their team. Overall, I would absolutely recommend VEG Wh

I had my VEG experience in White Plains, NY. While this location was where I visited, they state that their model is the same at every location. It was an amazing experience during a very stressful time. The supervising doctor was Dr. Melanie Matthews, the primary Dr. who conducted the scope (forgot her name but she was absolutely wonderful) nurse, anesthesiologist, tech with the scope pincher tool and the rest of the team. My cat suddenly showed signs of distress, and when we arrived at VEG they immediately placed us in a private room with windows looking into their open-concept treatment area. Right away they asked whether I preferred to stay with my cat during treatment or have them take him while I waited in their very comfortable waiting area (which is equipped with beverages and snacks). I chose to stay with my cat. The entire facility operates with an open-concept design and movable medical carts so procedures can happen right where the pet and owner are located. There are a few private enclosed rooms on the back wall as well. There are low-partition cubicles for pet parents and their pets, complete with chairs and cushions and blankets on the floor. Many pet parents were t
