Took my cat and daughters dog in for checkups and updated shots. Almost a 1000$ with flea meds!!! On top of that they needed to get boosters 4 weeks later that they also charged us Almost 100$ a piece for that was never mentioned. Which i assumed was part of the vaccination price. Bottom line there crooks and way overpriced for there services. Use to be a decent vet unfortunately that's not the case now.

Horrible, triggering visit this morning due to a vet tech problem. Will not go back. Had morning appt. for allergy shot injection for my dog. Arrived early. Upon walking dog and his brother dog inside (a rescue with separation anxiety who always comes along so as not to wake my neighbors), there was an aggressive acting pit bull in the car next to us. The owner stepped out, leaving her dog in the car to check in, apologizing about him. I said it was ok. I check my dog in and sit in the dog area with adaptil diffuser, our custom. Then I overheard the pit owner say upon check-in that she wished to keep her dog separate from others. I immediately breathed a sigh of relief. A staff member then takes us to our waiting room. The vet tech enters the room and closes the door. She asks if we got a weight on my dog at check-in and I said no but that I did NOT want my dog to come into contact with the pit. VT opened the door to said animal entering to check out my dog, owner at the other end of his leash. I then said please shut the door. I don't want this. VT continues to ignore my wishes and refuses to simply shut the door (pit restrained and shutting door would be easy). I then more in

I adopted my pet recently from the Humane Society here in lafayette. As a part of doing that I was given a voucher worth $250 for this location. And I did set up my appointment and took my kitty over there. The doctor that I saw was very professional he was really informative. My new pet does have a medical issue it's it's minor but it's a medical issue and so he made sure I didn't have any questions about that and gave me additional information regarding it before I left. The only thing that this voucher did not cover was additional flea and tick medication that I purchased for an additional 3 months

It was my first time here with my dog. Everyone was so kind and understanding. The front desk lady was so kind on the phone and in person. I let them know in advance that my dog couldn't be around other dogs, so they put it in a room right away. Dr. K and the vet assistant were so kind and patient with him. They gave us the prices for everything beforehand and were budget-friendly. They even asked if we needed translation assistance. That was very kind of them. We will 100% return here.

The entire team deserves 5 stars! First, Jenny helped accomodate my schedule to get my old boy seen and diagnostics performed at times that worked for me. Next, Kat was so kind and handled him with knowledge and care (and many cookies). Finally Dr. Bunton spent so much time getting to know me and my dog, making sure all of my concerns were addressed and helped form a plan for him going forward. I am so happy I was referred here and will continue to bring my pup and recommend VCA Paw Prints to anyone else seeking individualized care for their critters.
