About Valentine's Pet Grooming

Valentine's Pet Grooming is one of the pet groomers listed in Hartville, Ohio. The business is registered at 254 Market Ave NE, Hartville, OH 44632; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–5 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Veronica and her team are the absolute best. I have been taking my huskies to her for over 13 years and they do a wonderful job. My dogs absolutely love them and always look forward to their visits. My dogs always look fantastic. They are hands down the best grooming salon.

Wow. Just called this place because they came recommended by a friend and the woman who answered the phone sounded super annoyed right off the bat by even having to answer the phone. Then when I told her what breed of dog I have (bernedoodle), she immediately said “we’re not taking on any more doodles - they take up 75% of our clientele and we just don’t have the time” in an extremely rude tone. Their loss - she’s the sweetest pup we’ve ever owned.

Valentines Pet Grooming is amazing! They’ve been grooming my mini doodle for 8 years, so when I needed a groomer for my granddoodle, I didn’t hesitate. Her coat is extremely difficult—very “cotton candy” texture and prone to matting—and I was worried she would have to be shaved down. But V worked magic! She was able to save much of her coat, and she looks absolutely beautiful. What meant the most to me is how comfortable my dog was. Even though this was her first visit, she ran right to V like she already knew her. That kind of trust says everything. You can truly tell they care about the dogs they groom. Highly recommend!

I have a lil 9 pound ShihPoo who previously had an extremely traumatic, for her, experience at her previous groomers. I literally had to hold her constantly for well over a week after and even then she would shake like crazy! I called Valentines today, reluctantly, because I was so afraid to take her anywhere to get groomed. But, it had to be done as she was starting to get serious matting. Because I’m no expert at grooming, I did my best to prevent it but it got the best of us without having professional grooming for somewhere between 6-8 months. Surprisingly, they happened to have a cancellation and were able to get me in right away. I took her up there and explained what happened. Each of the groomers felt her all over, snuggled her as we discussed the best course of taking care of my baby without having to shave her all the way down. Even the owner gave the best advice on how to handle her. They explained step by step how she’d be taken care of and that it would take approximately 4 hours. I worried the entire time if she would be ok. I got the call she was done and headed up to pick her up. I got there and when they brought her to me she was so excited to see me. I got so many

Extremely unhappy with our poor girls hair. We asked for our Husky’s hair to be short, almost as if it was shaved, because it gets so long and unmanageable. My husband specifically asked for the hair around her face/ears to be left a little longer, but only to her collar. We asked for the tail to be trimmed, and for her sanitary area to be shaved so she doesn’t get urine all over…….. her hair was basically shaved all the way down, choppy, uneven, her tail looked awful and they stopped the “trim” at her shoulder blades and left it all long - almost like a lions mane. We had to literally take her somewhere else to get it fixed… Valentines ADMITTED that it could have been “blended in better” , but refused to give us any of our money back. The “best they could do” was 50% off her next groom with them. No thank you, we won’t be going back.
