Located at 184 Front St, Lincoln, RI 02865, Underdogs Grooming operates as a pet groomer serving Lincoln in Rhode Island. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. Typical hours are 7 am–2 pm. Note that it does not open on Wednesday, Sunday. Lincoln is in Rhode Island, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Lincoln follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

They did so great with my doggy! I can see why their ratings are so high. They were the only place that I called that did not give me an attitude. You can’t expect me to trust you with my dog, if you can’t speak respectfully to the owner. They were so respectful and informative. They gave me the information I needed to do the proper steps to make sure my baby was taken care of. They’re punctual, which is perfect because I like to plan accordingly. I will 100% be coming here again!

Recently brought our 85lbs Golden Retriever to Underdogs. Fantastic dog groomer! They did a wonderful job and were so gentle and patient. Communication was excellent from start to finish—clear, friendly, and reassuring. I felt completely confident leaving my dog in their care and will definitely be coming back!

Samantha is the best! She has shown so much love and patience with my nervous pup. He has gone from being scared to get in the tub to getting excited to walk in the door to Underdogs!! It’s been a long journey for us and the Underdogs crew was with us every step of the way. If you’re looking for a fear-free experience, there’s no better place to go! ♥️

We’ve been going to Sam (and now Kayle) since our dog, Gansett, was a few months old. Grooming a golden retriever is hard, and we’ve seen many with absolutely horrendous hair cuts. Never has this happened with Gansett while he’s been under their care! Their work has even been complimented while traveling out of state with our golden! Sam is absolutely phenomenal in meeting your dog where they need to be met, making sure they always look handsome (seriously, I’ve never seen such great grooming work!), and is continuously learning to make sure Underdogs keeps up with industry standards. Underdogs is great at working with dogs from all stages of life, from young puppies to those with a bit more life experience. If you’re in the market for a new groomer and are reading reviews to determine if this will be a good fit just make the appointment!!

Samantha is wonderful. She has been grooming our dog for almost five years now and she takes very good care of our grooming-phobic, elderly girl. She understands the physical and emotional needs of dogs who struggle with grooming activities and uses the most gentle methods. I love that she does not crate your dog for hours after the grooming session like some places do. Plus my pup always looks and smells amazing afterwards. Underdogs grooming is clean, professional, competitively priced, and really conveniently located. I highly recommend!
