The new owner is improving the shop. The ac was actually on in the fish area! I didn't even know it had ac lol they seem to be remodeling still but they have a wide selection of fish and brought back some lizards, birds, and guinea pigs. I would say its worth checking out even to just look around.

Terrible customer service. I purchased 5 fish from your store, and one of them died the very same day. I contacted Alex and asked if I could get a replacement. He told me via text message to bring the dead fish along with a sample of the tank water, which I did. After driving all the way from Delhi to your store, I was surprised to be told by another employee that I would have to pay half the price of the replacement fish. This directly contradicts what Alex told me beforehand. Why am I being asked to pay after following all the instructions provided by your staff? I have been a loyal customer since 2017, and this experience is extremely disappointing. I made a special trip to your store expecting the replacement that was promised, only to be met with unexpected charges. To make matters worse, I was then told that the water sample needed to be brought separately from the dead fish. If that was a requirement, why wasn't it clearly explained by Alex when I first contacted the store? I am not a fish expert. Their selection of corals and saltwater livestock is growing since relaunch. Stock is random which is always fun, and all frags I've gotten there have been successful including an acropora which speaks volumes on the good quality of their systems.

Took a trip to Modesto to visit Tropical Haven as they have a larger selection of fish than the normal pet stores. We spent about 45 minutes in the store mostly in their fish section. They had a large variety of fish that took up about half the store. The staff was friendly and offered assistance often and checked on us if we had questions. We ended up purchasing 9 fish, and a few other supplies for our first tanks. The store is warm and humid with all the tropical tanks in there, I was sweating by the time we were done. We were able to get other varieties of fish that are not available locally. They had great prices on their fish food & filtration systems, some of the fish were priced higher than I was expecting but overall the experience is good and the staff was friendly & helpful. Unfortunately we lost 2 of the fish we purchased within a few days but have hopes that it was just a fluke.

This place is better than ever after mike bought it. Ted was an amazing guy and owner but really lost his spark towards the end. Mike is really cleaning up the store got rid of all the rude old employees and kept the good ones like Marie Holly and Megan. Alex the new Manager is like a fish GOD! He knows everything there is to know about fish, and helped me redo my tank after I accidentally killed all my fish. They now do service calls for really reasonable prices. My tank now looks better than it ever did. And he is saving me money from how I used to do it. He got me into live plants and now my tank is healthy and looking great THANK YOU MIKE AND ALEX
