Not great communication. We’ve been a few times, and the last time we were asked to bring our cat in at 9am. We always give him gabapentin for any appointments or vet trips as it calms him down a little. However, He was left in his carrier from dropoff until after 1pm to start grooming which left our cat traumatized. Imagine leaving your cat in a carrier for 5 hours in a place with loud noises, strangers, and other cats. I received a text at 1:30 saying they will not groom our cat because he kept meowing and was aggressive. Yeah he kept meowing because he was trapped in his travel carrier for 5 hours and is scared.. He already has really bad anxiety and meows and cries when we take him out, I felt so bad that I traumatized him more. Maybe this was a bad day and the team was overwhelmed, but as a cat only groomer, I would think you would be better equipped and trained. I found a local mobile groomer that comes to your place that is around the same price. He came and had him groomed and cleaned in less than 30 minutes. Asked if he was aggressive and he said no just the typical cat nerves but was relatively easy to groom. I don’t recommend Trilling Cats if you have cats that requ

Ellen is amazing. My kittens absolutely adored her, and she treated them like family. It’s rare to find someone who brings both professionalism and genuine love—Ellen does both effortlessly. She also groomed my Ragdoll cat and even helped with training, which made a noticeable difference. I’m so grateful and would highly recommend her!

If you have a cat, then you know how hard it is to find a professional cat groomer. They're more rare and difficult to book that a good doctor. And Trilling is the best I've found in the Triangle area. They are so patient and kind with cats, and have so much knowledge about cats in general. I can't give them a higher review -- they deserve every penny of the cost! A++++ reference.

I know there are limited cat groomers in the area, but I was genuinely surprised to see so many positive reviews for this business. After waiting three months for our cat’s grooming appointment, the owner cancelled the morning of and said she’d reschedule, but we never heard back. We reached out again and, after several additional scheduling issues, we finally secured another appointment two weeks later. When we arrived, we were surprised to find that the business operates out of the owner’s basement. The space was dark, cluttered, and noticeably unclean, with storage items scattered around and the grooming area showing signs of cat urine and hair on the floor. Just as she was about to begin grooming our cat, another customer arrived — she had double-booked our appointment and asked us to wait in our car for nearly an hour while she groomed the other cat. We almost left at that point, but our cat had several mats that needed attention. We also made it clear that our cat is FIV+ and cannot be around other cats, yet other cats continued to be brought into the area. This made us uncomfortable leaving him unattended. When it was finally our turn, the owner’s demeanor was at times pa

Our senior lady, Harmony (17 years) was groomed today by Trilling. She’s unable to groom herself and was so matted. Trilling answered our call for HELP, fitting us in. They were so caring and compassionate to a cat with osteoarthritis. Harmony is so soft and cuddly tonight. So thankful to have found this wonderful cat groomer thru Google reviews
