I had a great experience here! The haircut turned out fantastic, the price was very reasonable, and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The students are clearly being trained well, and it’s wonderful to see such care and attention to detail. It’s reassuring to know this school is preparing future stylists with strong skills and professionalism. Highly recommend supporting them!

save money don’t come here they will ruin your hair and not give a refund paid over 200 dollars for something i didn’t ask for then she told me they expected it to turn out that way and didn’t tell me once that this could’ve happened. don’t say you know how to do hair if you truly don’t! they tried lying saying they took me through the whole process of how my hair would turn out but obviously i wouldn’t have come here if i knew it would turn out like that, they also said they made it clear i should’ve stayed and got blow dried but all she did was ask me once and was not clear that i had to stay and get it dried. i spent 5 hours in the salon for it to turn out like this, its patchy,uneven,, its a bunch of different colors, there’s streaks in it, its not even close to the color i asked for, some parts are way darker, i asked for my hair to be one color and it turned out multiple, would not recommend this place to anyone the staff and instructors are very rude, no one should be charged that much money from someone who doesn’t even know how to do hair!

my girlfriend got her black hair bleached and dyed wanted a dark red color. Color came out orange and very uneven girlfriend just decided to go back to her black color on her own. Not only did we not get a refund the other hair dressers said they were not surprised it came out so orange after we sent pictures of it. then they tried to blame it on her not letting them dry it at the salon when she said she would style at home especially when her hair dresser only asked one time if she wanted it dryed and never once told her it would change anything about the outcome. Don't blame your customers for something the weren’t told about even if you discussed it with the her hair dresser she never explained everything to its full out come to my girlfriend. dont come here save your money. zero stars

I should have read recent reviews before stopping in today, but family members have gone to this school dating back to when Connie and Dennis were still teaching, and I've gotten some truly wonderful cuts here before. I'm so sad the quality of instruction has gone down so much. I should have walked out when the student wouldn't even look at my reference photos. The icing on the cake was when she took out a massive chunk of hair, down to the scalp, above one of my ears and tried to play it off like it was fine. She acted like I was inconveniencing her when she asked if I wanted her to get the instructor. Though to be fair, the instructor wasn't much better. They refused to try to even things out and at least make it look intentional. The instructor was apathetic to my complaints. I will never be back. Huge shoutout to Sydney at Studio FX for doing her best to fix the mess Trendsetters gave me. Edit: Nearly two months later and still no response.
