Love Transitions Technical College. I can always count on a good service from the students!!! I love giving them a chance to work on their craft and it’s always exciting to see them pull off a service. It’s great to see someone open up these opportunities for our youth.

I visited Transitional Technical College for a pedicure service and left extremely disappointed with the overall experience. As a licensed nail technician with experience since 2015, I have a clear understanding of proper pedicure procedures and industry standards, and unfortunately, this service did not meet them. There was no proper foot soak provided. My feet were only briefly dipped into water and removed immediately, which did not allow for adequate softening of the skin or preparation of the nail plate. Additionally, there was no proper cuticle work or thorough cleansing of the nail beds. The removal of the previous polish was also poorly executed, as residue was still left along the lateral nail folds and edges of the toenails. This is not in alignment with standard cosmetology practices for proper nail preparation before a new application. I specifically requested a French tip design; however, it was not applied correctly or evenly, and the finished look did not reflect proper technique or attention to detail. To anyone who needs a boost of energy to enhance life; I recommend Transitions Technical College for your restoration & transformation. After a bout with grief & the lose of my 2 Fur Babies of 11 1/2 and 13 years along with a family member. The sorrow was unbearable 💔. So, my 2 Day Beauty School Renewal took place for my rebirth lol Anniversary/Birthday Celebration. These wonderful people revived my outlook. I felt special and I have not laughed so hard. Laughter is good for the Soul is was the 1st time in 6 months. This gave me back what I needed. I'm sending a "Big Ole" Thank you to Professor Konique Thompson and her Students: Mr. Anthonee Foster (hair), Ms. Lilith Quinlivan (toes), Ms. Maddie Postma (eyelashes, eyebrows & makeup) & last but not least... I also received a hand massage the student wasn't included in the pictures yet the memory of what she did for my Spirit is in my heart. God knows what we need & when we need it. My experience at Transitions Technical College under Ms. Thompson has been very positive and motivating. Since starting school, I have gained more confidence in my barbering skills and learned the importance of professionalism, discipline, and consistency. Ms. Thompson has been supportive, encouraging, and always willing to help students improve both in and outside of the classroom. I appreciate the hands-on learning environment because it allows me to practice real techniques that will help me in my future career. The school has also helped me meet new people, build connections, and grow personally. Even during stressful moments, the experience has taught me perseverance and responsibility. Overall, my time at Transitions Technical College has been a valuable step toward reaching my goals in the barbering industry.

I recently visited the facility and i can say it will probably be my last time. Ive came here plenty of times before but this last time rubbed me the wrong way. I went in for a silk press, in which i wasn’t expecting perfection but the previous times I’ve gotten the same thing and had completely different results. The young lady left my roots so puffy, i honestly dont think she touched them or the flat iron wasnt on. And then the way the owner was talking to students really gave me the ick. So with that, I’ll just pay the extra and go to a salon.
