Toledo Academy of Beauty School

I went to TABS in 2017 for Nails and I've been licensed since 2018. I've been trying since 2019 to enroll into the Esthetician courses. Of course Covid halted that a little, but I do not understand how someone who has been trying to enroll since hasn't been able to enroll and start. Yet others whom applied after have. There is no reason a person should have to do multiple tours and applications just to take a class. The last time I went for a "tour", we just sat in the lobby and talked, because it was no point in doing a tour. The teachers exact words were "I've never seen anyones file so thick". But will not tell the person why they didn't get into the class that time. At this point I feel I have to go out of state just to get a certificate and that's insane. I think in the future they need to accept people into the classes differently, I know I would.

I was supposed to be a part of the upcoming class of 2024 due to the constant miscommunication, lack of professionalism and overall couth of the school I decided to withdraw. I strongly urge any and all students and customers who decide to come to this facility to do their research on other locations before doing so. I have never in my life dealt with so much cluelessness when it comes to a business that someone else is running. when I called to ask questions, no one knew the answers, and when I finally got fed up after 3 1/2 months of not knowing any information, and I was told that they would notify the authorities if I contacted them again in regards to my payment and schooling. And if that doesn’t make matters even worse, the fact that the schools owner had us involved in her personal life’s drama before we even started the school, that along with the things I listed above as well as the overall ambience of the facility, make it clear the education is not their first and foremost, priority. Please be aware of this fraudulent facility and do what I should have done and find an actual accredited and a claim School.

Always get my spiral perms done here. Always comes out great! The teacher Kris is always helping make sure they get the rolls correct before getting too far in and the curls come out perfect.

Went to get my hair lightened and cut today. Kaylee was super nice and did a great job! Kris the supervisor was very knowledgeable and very nice. I liked that she helped the student get out of her comfort zone and do highlights in my hair. I'll be back soon!
