The Waggy Tail Fairhope

First time taking my pup to this groomer. He has vast experience with groomers. He came home severely shaved with a cut on his back which appears to be from clippers. It’s been a month and his hair is still not grown back I can still see his skin and the cut still healing. I am severely disappointed by this experience. My dog has never had an issue as he is 5 lbs and is easily groomed. I will not be bringing him back here and I suggest you look elsewhere if you care about your dogs.

What a great groomer here in Fairhope! Parking was super easy and everyone who works here is so nice. The pups came out looking brand new! Also tons of great toy and treats selection! Will be returning for sure

My sister was just charged $90 roughly + tip ($106)for a dog wash. She dropped her sweet dog off at 11:00 as new client, she wanted him groomed because he is a Golden Chow Retriever. My sister called them at 1:18pm to make sure she was picking her dog up at the correct time, and they told her 2:30. She gets there at 2:30 and they ask her, “Nobody called you? We were supposed to call you.” They never called her. My sister was anxious and waiting on any updates for 3 and a half hours and never received a call. They told her that he was an aggressive dog, needed to be sedated next time, and that they only washed him. Excuse me?? My sister is way nicer than I am. They made her pay before even seeing her dog, and after paying $106 they bring him out and she was stunned that he didn’t look groomed just fluffier from a wash. I can’t believe they charged her for a full service!!!!! She didn’t know how to react because she had already paid so she just asked questions and left, but I am LIVID for her. How in the world do you not call a new client about this?!? How in the world did they not have an update for her at 1:18pm when she called them?!? It’s because they wanted to get paid. She coul

I am new to Fairhope, I didn't know who I could take Bella to for a spa day. This place was perfect! The appointment was made by a happy voice. When Bella and I showed up we had a warm welcome from the same happy voice who turned out to be a sweet young lady who Bella took to immediately. When I returned Bella looked like a new lady. She had a cute pink neckerchief and pranced around showing off her new look. We picked up a new collar and left glad we chose the Waggy Tail as our new go to place.

My dogs seemed to enjoy their day getting a bath and clip. I brought in a picture of them from right after their previous grooming. We moved to the area from out of state. The price they charge I expect great customer service and a a great finished cut too. I felt it fell short in those two areas. That’s why the four stars.
