Lawton is in Oklahoma, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Lawton is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Quite muddy/flooded in 1/3rd of this park and unfortunately it was completely empty aside from us. The running water fountains are a nice touch though! And our doggo was able to run around and get her zoomies out! 2.5/5

My first time to the park. Loved the gravel path. Had my dog on leash until she's fit to run again. Loved the large and open fields to walk her. Definitely a park to go back to.

Great large area for running with a double gate and a separated area for small dogs. Plenty of buckets for water with spout access. Regularly maintained area with dog poop bag stations throughout with plenty of toys!!

There is quite a bit of room here with shaded areas included. A ton of toys/balls available. A couple of agility toys. Plenty of water in various places. Has a separate small dog area.

PROS: Wide open spaces. Not too busy. Lot of room for activity and play with your pups. Beautiful surrounding with peace and quiet! That's always refreshing. CONS: Needs maintenance cleaning. And maybe new sitting areas. Perhaps even ridding fleas from the area if possible? The place is infested, and who knows with what else. I don't want to risk bringing my dog or any dog to the area and risk them getting sick after one visit. :c
