I switched to Melissa because I heard she did 1:1 grooming and my dog Jack used to get so stressed at the groomers and, with them withholding water, he would come home, drink a ton, throw it up and then his stomach would be messed up for days. Not only is the environment SO much calmer for him, Melissa always puts water down for him and he's never had an episode since we've gone to her. She also never rushes me and is just a pleasure to talk to. Anytime something is going on with one of my dogs (skin issues, renal failure) Melissa always listens and gives me feedback on how they acted during the grooming, something that seems small but always makes me feel good, like I know she really cares about them when they're in her care. She's always willing to help me out to my car with them when I have my kids and I just can't sing her praises enough.

I have to say Melissa is truly the best groomer. My dog has always had a bad sensitive stomach and we always just managed it the best we could.. My sweet baby gets very anxious and lost his bowels a couple times while Melissa was grooming him(she has been amazing about all of it). She expressed her concerns and we had bloodwork done to find out he had pancreatitis and IBD, which we are now addressing and he is doing AMAZING. I just have to thank her for going through this with us and continuing to taking the best care of our sweet boy and being so patient with him(he can be lazy and likes to lay down) , and of course making him look so handsome every time. Melissa, owner of the pet spa, has been grooming my dog Chloe for almost a year now. We love her! I’ve had rough grooming experiences bringing my dog to other groomers in the past- either with keeping my dog at the salon all day or judging me it my dog even had the smallest knotting (usually the area she wears her harness). Melissa is so down to earth and has such a great temperament with my dog and always gives us what we ask for. Highly recommend!

Had both of my dogs groomed at The Spot and had a wonderful experience. The place is very clean, the owner was incredibly sweet and talented, and I love the way their haircuts came out. I felt super comfortable having my pups groomed here and I could tell that my pups were well pampered and cared for. Highly recommend.
