The Soapy Dog LLC

Full Service Dog grooming Previously named Alaska Pet Spa

The Soapy Dog LLC is one of the pet groomers listed in Eagle River, Alaska. The business is registered at 12801 Old Glenn Hwy Ste 9, Eagle River, AK 99577; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 9 am–3 pm. It is closed on Monday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (907) 795-8254. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

On Google it holds a rating of 5.0 out of 5 from 27 reviews, which is a strong result for a pet groomer in Eagle River and suggests consistent service.

Eagle River is in Alaska, where long summer days and dark cold winters set the rhythm of business; many seasonal operations run only from May to September, so call ahead outside the summer. Getting around Eagle River is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Alaska's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.
