About The Pawspaw
Providing Spa services to Cats & Dogs!
The Pawspaw is a pet groomer in Springfield, Massachusetts. It is listed at 1211 Parker St, Springfield, MA 01129, which places it among the local businesses of Springfield that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
In Springfield, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Massachusetts, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–4 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (413) 796-7729. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, thepawspawsalon.top.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 71 reviews, which is a strong result for a pet groomer in Springfield and suggests consistent service.
Springfield is in Massachusetts, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Springfield is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Massachusetts's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Had a wonderful experience bringing my senior cat to the Pawspaw recently - I'd never had a cat professionally groomed and wasn't sure what to expect. My cat has had some matting issues as he's gotten older, and I could no longer resolve them on my own. They evaluated him and recommended a modified lion cut, preserving as much of his long fur as possible. I was so nervous he'd look silly - but wanted him to be comfortable and healthy so I trusted their expertise. Well, it came out FABULOUS!!! They took it slow, gave him breaks, and cared for him in a soundproof room. They were super communicative and friendly throughout the process. My cat had the zoomies when he got back home, and he's totally embracing his inner lion. He's clearly feeling more comfortable and I'm really grateful for their work. Thank you Pawspaw!!!!

Love Erica and Sammy. They are so good with my fur family. My last dog (passed) had a hard time moving so one would come to the car, sit in back of SUV to cut his nails and bring him treats!! Its very obvious they love animals.

Brought my cat for a sanitary trim and a nail trim. The staff was kind and professional. They have a soundproof room for the pets comfort. The groomer was able to complete the groom in a timely manner which I appreciated. The cost was lower than expected which was amazing! Will definitely be back and would recommend.

They took such excellent care of my 14 year old, long haired cat! She was there for a long time so that she could get much needed breaks between her grooming. They were so kind and friendly, and it was so affordable too. Excited to have found a cat groomer who is so close and wonderful!
