Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

Vestavia Hills is in Alabama, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Vestavia Hills follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I absolutely love The Pawns Pet Resort in Vestavia, AL. ! I trust them completely with my 16-year-old Border Collie/Lab mix. They are always extremely accommodating and take wonderful care of her when I go out of town and during doggy daycare. They give her the opportunity to be around other pups, and bathe her before she comes home. Kholee always returns happy, clean, and smelling great. I’m so grateful to have a place that treats my senior dog like family. Highly recommend! ❤️🐾

I love taking my dog here! The people are absolutely wonderful. They recognize him as soon as he walks in the door and I have no doubt that they take such great care of him. They are also super accommodating and quick to respond. I recently had to board him last minute and they approved my request within minutes late at night on a Sunday. It was a huge relief! I feel very lucky to have found this place. I can tell my dog loves it too. He normally doesn’t like when I leave him but when he realizes he’s going to daycare he couldn’t be more excited about it!

Absolutely the best place to take your pets! My two girls go to daycare once every week! What stands out the most for me is not only are they excited when we pull into the parking lot but the staff are always excited to see them! They have been extremely kind and accommodating. From daycare to boarding I could not recommend them enough.

We boarded our dog here while staying out of state. They observed that my dog's pee was very dark red, and immediately called me. Joshua was amazing and drove my dog 20 minutes to see my normal vet, stayed with my dog the whole time at the vet, and started his treatment until I got back into town. And they also kept me updated on my dog the whole time. I felt confident my dog was being cared for while he stayed here because they were quick to notice something was wrong with my dog, and get him vet treatment. My dog had a UTI completely unrelated to The Pawms, as it was the first morning he was there that they noticed his urine. I am very grateful to them for taking such great care of my baby. We have had him stay with The Pawms Vestavia a few times and every time he has been happy to get there, and happy when we pick him up.

The Pawms pet resort and spa at Vestavia in Birmingham, Alabama is amazing! The service and attention that they give to your dogs is top-notch! I dropped my dogs off for baths and grooming this morning and spoke to Peyton who was super helpful and friendly. Everyone there was so great and wonderful to work with. They treat you and your beloved animals like they would treat their own family. I can’t recommend enough that if you have an opportunity and a need for grooming or daycare that you check out the Pawms pet resort. They really did a super great job and I’m looking forward to bringing our dogs back to them for more VIP treatment again soon. Thanks to everyone for being so patient and accommodating to all of your patrons. We very much appreciate you!
