White Plains is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around White Plains is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Opus Spa is my reset button. The sauna and steam room are excellent, and the whole place is spotless every single time I go. No exception. It's relaxing in a way that takes the actual edge off a stressful week. I always leave feeling like a different person than the one who walked in. What sets it apart though is the people. Everyone who works here is kind and genuinely welcoming, not the fake-polished kind of friendly you get at a lot of places. Antonella and Karen especially. They remember you, they make you feel looked after the second you walk in, and that goes a long way. I've been to plenty of spas. Most of them get the amenities right and the experience wrong. Opus gets both. If you live in White Plains and need somewhere to actually decompress, go.

There are definitely better spa options in Westchester. The pool area felt outdated and the sauna was extremely small. When we arrived, the receptionist Jessica was dismissive and our lockers were not prepared with robes. This visit was meant to celebrate my mom’s 63rd birthday and we were told something special would be arranged, but nothing was acknowledged. They also forgot that she has sensitive skin, which we had shared beforehand. The trainee who helped us was very sweet and tried to fix the situation, and the masseuse was very nice and talented, but overall the experience lacked the level of service and attention to detail that I expected.

Anne at the front desk at Opus Westchester Spa was absolutely wonderful to work with. I had several questions and a few scheduling changes while booking hair, makeup, and other services, and she handled everything with patience and professionalism. Anne was incredibly responsive and went out of her way to make sure every detail was arranged perfectly. Her kindness and attention to detail made the entire process smooth and stress-free. It’s clear she truly cares about providing an exceptional client experience. I’m really looking forward to meeting her in person when I visit! ✨

Just fantastic. Had a 90-minute deep tissue massage scheduled and had the pleasure of having Louisa as my masseuse and she did an amazing job. So often, deep tissue massages are done improperly being too rough but I’m still left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed! I would 100% book again just to have Louisa again! As far as the facilities, they’re beautiful. Clean, luxurious, relaxing. The pool area is beautiful and I able to order lunch easily with the front desk attendant and it was promptly brought poolside right to me and it was delicious. My total for the day was $400 (gratuity auto included, meal w/ tip and tax) and I feel it was well worth it! Check out was done by a lovely attendant who promptly charged my card on file, with my permission, while simultaneously validating my parking and calling down for my car, took 3 minutes! Being only an hour drive from the NorthShore, I’ll surely be back with my mom!

Had a relaxing evening at The Opus Spa this morning. The hot stone massage was amazing and my therapist was so nice. Large changing rooms with everything you need to shower, shave, blowdry your hair etc. There’s also a sauna and steam room. You even get access to their indoor heated pool. Definitely a luxurious experience!
