9/19/25 I took my 8 y/o Samoyed to The Flying Fur Palace: 15 AVON RD BRANFORD CT OWNER: LAURA GIARDIELLO This groomer does not even deserve 1 star...totally incompetent. After nearly 6 hours in the groomers' "care" I picked up my Samoyed (Noelle), a champion show dog of high pedigree. I was devastated to see what the groomer had done to my dog. WITHOUT my consent she COMPLETELY shaved Noelle. I did not even recognize my dog. I was beyond devastated. After 4 hours the owner, LAURA GIARDIELLO texted me stating: "All done with grooming, had to shave her... the matting was too much to de-matt". in reality, she was to lazy to properly groom a double-coated dog.... the ONLY reason to completly shave a double-coated dog is due to a medical/surgery issue. I was appalled when she didn't even offer an apology nor explanation of her careless act. At this juncture I am seriously considering legal action to be taken against the Flying Fur Palace. PLEASE do your research on local groomers in your area. Please read all of the 1 and 2 star revews on the Flying Fur Palace. Be cautious of pet groomers who "work from home", as they allegedly are not monitored or supervised from any State or local

On 9/19/25 I brought my 8 yr. old Samoyed to Flying Fur Palace located at 15 Avon Rd Branford, Ct. Owner: LAURA GIARDIELLO Bottom line: Groomer (Laura) completely shaved my former champion show dog COMPLETELY without my consent. I was more than devastated upon picking up Noelle. The owner (Laura) texted me after the shaving just saying "I had to shave her" without further comment. I remain sickened by her actions and am considering legal action against her business which she operates from her private residence in her basement. Please read all of the 1 and 2 star reviews on this groomer. NOTE: Please read 1 star review by Ana R- Her Chihuahua, “peanut” Was mauled by a pitbull at this facility.

My fur baby, a Shi Tsu, was in great need of a grooming and when I called Laura she gave me an appointment. I found her with a search on the internet focused on Branford. My fur baby has routinely been groomed by only 2 other groomers in her 9 years of age. However Laura did such a beautiful job and she said my Mila was very well behaved. I was very happy with Laura and her home grooming business was clean and organized. I am so happy that my baby girl was not stressed at all and that is saying a lot for Laura's talent and skill in her caring and grooming skills. Laura was so kind to Mila and to me (I was the nervous and stressed one). Thanks Laura, see you again soon!

Today was my Papillon Luigi's first visit and Laura did a fantastic job! He came home looking so handsomely groomed. Plus, a cute surprise was an adorable necktie that I can reuse for Easter! I will definitely bring him back. Reasonable priced is an added bonus!!
