About The Fairy Dog Groomer
Professional dog grooming For dogs and cats. Pet store and boutique.
The Fairy Dog Groomer is a pet groomer in Prospect, Kentucky. It is listed at 13206 W Hwy 42 Ste 113A, Prospect, KY 40059, which places it among the local businesses of Prospect that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 9 am–5 pm. It is closed on Sunday. This was our first time bringing our German Shepherd to The Fairy Dog Groomer and we will be back again and again! We have a very anxious GSD and for years grooming experiences have been chaotic and incomplete because he gets so worked up. With a little help from some calming meds and Courtney, his groomer, he had a positive experience today! Courtney was so kind and thoughtful and asked questions about his temperament and past experiences. She gave me updates during his appointment to ease my mind. She was able to get a full bath, deshed and dry done! I’m so thankful we found this place because they truly seemed to care about our dog and our experience. If you’re looking for a groomer in general, but especially if you have an anxious pup, definitely consider The Fairy Dog Groomer!

It was my dog’s first time at the groomer and Courtney was great! She was welcoming as well as competent. She explained the process and laid it out so I felt comfortable leaving Peter there. Five stars!

Disclosure: This is my sister Brooke Steverson’s dog grooming salon BUT I don’t know what I’d do if she didn’t have one, super crazy dog mom here and want to encourage those who might have the same fears that I do. I’ve spent a lot of time being in there and getting to know everyone and a little about the grooming world and the entire team is attuned to every dogs specific need and will take care of them like their own. Anything the groomers recommend is always of best interest of the dog and they are phenomenal and have an endless amount of patience for all the pups. My sister puts her heart and soul into everything she does and she has ALWAYS been passionate about dogs and all animals. I highly recommend reaching out to her!

My dog is over 8 years old and this is only her 2nd professional haircut. I was kinda over Goshen animal clinic charging me $45 for just a nail trim. So I thought, why not pay a little extra and get her a nice summer cut, nails trimmed and bath for just a little extra? Booking online was so easy! Sugar came out smelling so good and had the cutest little bows in her hair. The staff was so caring and made sure my dog felt safe and comfortable. She’s already asking when her next spa appointment is 😆Thanks again for taking such good care of my fur baby 💜

They are simply the best! I was amazed at how much hair they were able to get off of my Shepherd during her grooming and de-shedding. She came back, smelling beautiful and very happy. I cannot say enough about this place.
