Trainers and dog parks help dogs stay calm, social and easy to handle, which makes grooming visits go smoothly. Dog trainers teach puppy classes, basic and advanced obedience, leash manners and agility, in group classes, private lessons or board-and-train programs; certified behaviorists work on fear, aggression and separation anxiety, often alongside a vet; and dog parks give dogs a fenced, off-leash place to run and meet other dogs.

Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Waukesha is in Wisconsin, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Waukesha follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This place is so fun— they have so many different activities for your dog to do. It’s also very clean, relaxing, and private. The perfect heat wave or rainy day spot!! We will definitely be back!

I had the opportunity to assist with a Pet First Aid & CPR class at Downtown Dog Spot and it was a wonderful experience. The owner was welcoming, organized, and a pleasure to work with. You can tell she cares about the dogs, their families, and creating a positive experience for everyone who walks through the door. The Facility provided a comfortable and professional setting for learning, and it was great to see so many pet owners eager to gain skills that could help them in an emergency. I’m looking forward to future classes and helping more pet parents become prepared to care for their furry family members. Sue

I’ve truly enjoyed working with the owner of Downtown Dog Spot to bring Pro Pet Hero - Cat and Dog (Pet) First Aid & CPR certification training to the Waukesha community. She has been welcoming, supportive, and easy to work with throughout the planning and promotion process. It’s clear how much she cares about the dogs and pet parents she serves, and that commitment shows in everything she does. The space is clean, inviting, and a great environment for learning. Our recent class was a great success, and I’m excited that we already have additional classes scheduled. As a fellow small business owner, I appreciate partnering with businesses that genuinely care about their customers and their community. I look forward to continuing our partnership and helping more pet owners gain the skills and confidence to respond when minutes matter. Renee Rescue Ready Resources Training for When Minutes Matter

I tried this Sniffspot today and loved it. The indoor setup is clean, spacious, and full of fun equipment — tunnels, jumps, toys, and plenty of room for the dogs to explore. Both of my pups had a great time running, playing, and checking out all the different areas. The space felt safe, well‑maintained, and perfect for burning energy. We’ll definitely be back

This a fantastic space for dogs to play, get exercise, and learn some agility work. It's also great for folks who want to relax while their dog(s) play. My service dog, Bruno, loves it here! We have been twice now and plan to go back again soon!
