This place is incredible!! I have a fearful dog and taking him to traditional crowded pet stores with self serve wash stations can be really overwhelming. The Dog Wash was so clean and spacious and we had the whole place to ourselves! I loved the assortment of bandanas to choose from as well. My pup and I will absolutely be back! We live in Raleigh but it is worth the drive for the peaceful and easy washing experience!!

I had a really great experience using this self-service dog wash! The entire station was very clean and well-maintained, which immediately made me feel comfortable bringing my dog in. The products provided were high quality, and everything worked exactly how you’d hope, the water pressure was perfect for getting a thorough clean, and the blow dryer was powerful and efficient without being overwhelming. The only downside I ran into was with the sanitizing feature. I was under the impression there would be about a minute to use it after pressing the button, but by the time I got my dog out, leashed, and ready, it only ran for a couple of seconds. I couldn’t justify paying for another full cycle just to sanitize. That said, I really appreciated that paper towels and cleaning spray were available, so I was still able to wipe everything down thoroughly before leaving. Overall, it’s a fantastic setup and I’ll definitely be back, just now I know to plan ahead a bit better with the sanitize timing!

The owner was so nice! Everything we needed was there. It can be challenging having a bigger dog that hates baths. I’ve been waiting for our area to get one of these self washing stations and it’s better than I thought it would be. He was being dramatic, so we settled on him taking a picture on the floor in front of the sign. So happy to have this here!

Very clean, and we loved that the nice smelling dog soap comes right out of the shower hose pre-mixed! It was so easy and quick to wash our (very fluffy) dog! Her long fur felt very fresh and clean after. There were lots of good features and touches built into the experience too-doggie vending machine, bandanas, a leash clip inside the wash bin to keep your pup safely secured, easy timer and settings on the washer, and tons of different sprayer settings. Our dog is usually very uncomfortable during baths at home and is petrified of my blow dryer, but she was so much calmer with this set up and was ok with the blow dryer which was amazing. We will definitely be back!

What an amazing experience! I took Sable, my 7 1/2 month old Golden Retriever, to get a bath! I had never been to a self service “doggy wash” before. Sable is getting bigger and just harder for me to bathe and blow dry her at home. From the initial contact when I called Christine to ask her questions, to meeting her today… was just amazing! She was so informative, took the time to show me how to operate everything! It was so easy! And on top of it all, she even loved on Sable. I highly recommend The Dog Wash and Sable and I will be returning frequently for many years to come! I have found our new “FURever” spot & it is convenient, right in downtown Clayton. Thanks again for everything, Christine! We will see you again real soon!
