I have a rescue dog named Diamond and I was extremely nervous about dropping her and leaving her to be groomed anywhere since she’s been through so much. After reading the reviews, I decided to get her groomed at The Dog Stop in The Colony, and I’m really glad that I did The groomer there is AWESOME!!!.. I explained the situation and told her how nervous I was leaving Diamond anywhere. She was very sweet kind and patient with Diamond (and me) and kept reassuring me that she would take good care of her. when I went to pick diamond up I was incredibly impressed how beautiful she looked. I’m not kidding Diamond looked like she should be in a dog magazine, or on TV. Best of all she seemed relaxed and happy :-) The dog stop really is an amazing place to take your fur babies… from the minute you walk in the door you can tell a difference. it’s spic and span, clean, and very organized, but what really sets the dog stop apart are the people that work there, even the receptionist is awesome! Very sweet and helpful. She knew I was worried, and took time to go check on diamond to let me know how she was doing. I’m bringing my other two fur babies to get groomed this week. We took our two pups there for an evaluation today. Everything went really well. One of our pups was very nervous, The staff took extra time with him until he was more confident & comfortable and ready to go in with the other dogs. I really appreciate how much they cared for our doggies. They have a fantastic staff I highly recommend this place. We definitely feel good about leaving our pups with them overnight. Thanks again!!!

First visit today after multiple people recommending them! Not only were they all right recommending them, but, wow!, what a great place for my 2 nervous beagles. They were scheduled for a full bath service and was lucky to have Ms. Sarah providing it for them. They were happy and so very clean from front to back with a darling bandana around their neck. Before we left, the front desk assistant asked if we'd like to get scheduled for their next bath with Sarah. That was a given! Thank you all for the great service, friendliness and taking such amazing care of Shep & Olive. You guys are truly the best around!

Absolutely wonderful boarding experience! We left Dakota with The Dog Stop in The Colony for 3 days. The facility is very clean, with personalized care, photo updates, and an engaging environment. We appreciate being able to watch Dakota in the play yard on the live video, along with photos they sent via cell phone. Kia, along with the other staff, is attentive with great communication and a genuine love for animals. They did an absolutely amazing job. Dakota was happy and excited and clearly well cared for when we got her back. We will absolutely use them again in the future. That being said, they did awesome job and definitely deserve a five-star rating!

Our this doodle is five years old and we have been to many groomers. We needed a groom done on short notice and the dog spot came in clutch not only is this the best haircut our golden doodle has had but the customer service and care was amazing. The facility is clean, everyone was accommodating and professional. This will now be our preferred groomers. The dog spot has spoiled our sweet baby girl and will never go anywhere else.
