The Dog Stop - Boardman, OH

My Bernese mountain dog Brutus stayed here away from home for the first time recently and I was a nervous dog mom not knowing how he would respond to be away from us. He’s still a pup and he is a very anxious guy and he has to be on sedatives daily to regulate his emotions. The employees at the dog stop were beyond responsive, careful and considerate with his amount of daily required meds and they took excellent care of him. I am extremely pleased with the dog stop and all of the employees I encountered during this experience. They kept me very informed throughout the 5 days he was boarded with them. He came home very happy and healthy. The employees were excellent with him with one of the females saying she was actually sad he was leaving and was going to miss him. I appreciate the outcome of this experience and we will absolutely use them again in the future and we are even considering occasional day care times to get him more socialized. Thank you all for making this nerve wracking experience so much easier for us.

Quick and easy pick-up and drop-off situations—my cavapoo is happy at both arrival and after she’s done. We have received the full groom from Lexi 3x and have never been disappointed. She’s a lovely person and does a great job. Scheduling has been simple; I had to reschedule once, and my same groomer had spots open when I needed them.

This is a new daycare for us. When I initially called to inquire, Kerrigan could not have been nicer or more informative. Shadow loves coming here. I bought him the daycare monthy membership which is a great idea if you can pay in advance to save some $. All who work here are lovely and sweet. Shadow and I both highly recommend the Boardman Dog Stop for daycare. Here are a couple of his pics from his Springtime photoshoot today and one other from home.

These folks got me in the same day that I called. I have 2 rottweilers that were in serious need of a nail trimming. It took 4 attendants to get the job done, because my dogs are so big, but my dogs absolutely loved the ladies that loved on them from the moment we walked in the door. I was very impressed. Their facility is very clean, organized, and the dogs that were in the doggy daycare seemed to be having a great time playing together.

I’ve definitely found my forever groomer for my pups! I was able to get in for a groom for two dogs very quickly, and they were great about communication and confirming the appointment. They even changed my appointments for me so my dogs would be back to back since I’d accidentally booked a gap online. When I got there, I could tell it would be a great experience. Everyone was excited to see my dogs, the lobby is spacious and clean, and the groomer came out to get my pups so I could meet her and we could talk about what I wanted done. Get the app! You can message to check on your dogs and I got a text as soon as mine were done. Both of my dogs came out happy and clean and smelling amazing. Everyone was so kind and my dogs literally feel like clouds. I’m already looking for an excuse to take them back with my third dog!
