St Charles is in Missouri, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and St Charles follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. I've taken my dog here a couple times a year for the past 10 years. The price has steadily increased every visit. It's getting to the point where I can't afford it anymore. However, the folks are so nice and very professional. The owner is prompt, concise, through, polite, and keen. She only hires folks who share the same qualities. They have been in business for a long time, for good reason. Highly recommended.

Unlike any other grooming place I have been to. They do not disclose that you must immediately pick up your pup right after they call you, or they will charge you a $36 fee. Also theres a $12 fee if they haven't groomed your dog in 90 days.... I wanted to keep my puppy's coat long for the winter, so she hasn't been fully groomed in a while, and I had to pay $12 extra just because she hadn't been groomed at THIS particular place in 90 days. The lady at the desk also proceeded to yell at me when I showed up 30 min after she told me my dog was done because I have a 30-minute drive from the city (where I live) to the Dog Spa. Do NOT recommend and will not come back here.

I cannot recommend this location of The Dog Spa. The manager is incredibly rude and has absolutely no regard for loyal customers. We will never return to this business. PetSmart is right next door - and they will have our business in the future.

If your pups aren’t doing full-on happy hops into the groomer and grinning like this after their spa day… are you even going to the right place? Huge thanks to The Dog Spa for making these two look (and smell!) their absolute best! 🐾🛁✨
