About The Dog Shop - Quality Grooming
The Dog Shop - Quality Grooming is a pet groomer in Vancouver, Washington. It is listed at 212 NE 164th Ave #7, Vancouver, WA 98684, which places it among the local businesses of Vancouver that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.
The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. Typical hours are 9 am–5 pm. It is closed on Monday, Sunday. Vancouver is in Washington, in the Pacific Northwest, where winters are mild and wet, summers are dry and pleasant, and outdoor recreation drives a lot of local business; hours change little through the year. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Vancouver follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The Dog Shop in Vancouver has been an absolute gem for our little Pomeranian. Every visit feels like a treat, not just for our dog but for us too. The staff is friendly, caring, and genuinely loves what they do. You can tell from the moment you walk in that this is a place where pets are treated like family. Our Pomeranian always comes home looking perfectly groomed, his coat soft, shiny, and beautifully trimmed. What we love most is that The Dog Shop gives the dogs time to play and socialize before and after grooming. It makes such a difference knowing he isn’t just sitting in a kennel waiting his turn. Instead, he gets to romp around with other friendly pups in a safe and supervised environment, which keeps him happy and relaxed. The groomers take their time to listen to what we want and always deliver consistent, top-quality results. They clearly care about both the appearance and comfort of the dogs they work with. Finding a groomer who combines professionalism, compassion, and fun isn’t easy, but The Dog Shop has it all. Our Pomeranian can’t wait for his next visit, and neither can we. Five stars for exceptional service and happy, well-groomed dogs every time.

Nice to find a friendly and reliable dog groomer in our area. The gals that groom our dog do a great job and he is ready when they say he would be.

Professional, compassionate, reasonably priced and expeditious. I came in with my own anxiety about my dogs nails being trimmed. I tried at home and failed (after watching countless "how to" videos). Give yourself and your dog the break you both deserve and have these wonderful groomers do it for you. And yes, I'm Dori's momma who left with tears of gratitude! We'll be back regularly now that Dori did so well (and her hip dysplasia restricts walks on hard surfaces). THANK YOU!

Jessica and Danielle and their amazing staff are what we’ve been searching for over the last 6 years. We trust them like they are part of our family and they have never let us down. Our two labradoodles love it as well and they receive the best haircuts we’ve ever experienced. I highly recommend The Dog Shop.
