I would give 0 if i could. There are no windows. Dogs are stuck inside the entire time they are there with 30+ dogs around them. During the summer time there is no air conditioning or drafts or anything for them. They are stuck in 98 degree heat with no break till you come get them. During tours they dont let you around to see where the dogs stay cause they know its not right. This is not good conditions for your dog, I would not take my dog here ever again.

Big shout out to Jordan for always being kind and patient with my anxious doggo, Goose! Getting my Goose’s nails trimmed has been a nightmare for the past few years. Taking him to the Dog Den has alleviated a lot of stress…for both of us! Bonus: I can grab him a treat from the lobby to enjoy after!

Last weekend, my husband and I went to Park City for our 15th anniversary, and during that time our dog Douglas had an unexpected issue while staying at Dog Den. We are incredibly grateful for how well he was cared for while we were away. We especially want to give a BIG thank you to Shane, who kept us updated throughout everything and answered all of our questions as best as he could. It truly helped put our minds at ease during a stressful situation. We would also like to thank the team at Mountain West Veterinary Specialists in Layton for taking such great care of Douglas. Everyone was kind, compassionate, and willing to answer all of our questions. The doctor was extremely knowledgeable, and we felt very thankful knowing Doug was surrounded by so many caring people. Even with everything that happened, Douglas absolutely loves going to Dog Den, and it’s obvious how good it is for him to socialize and be around other dogs. Thank you Shane and everyone who was involved. Douglas can’t wait to come back!

The Dog Den is truly one of a kind. I've never encountered a company that goes so far above and beyond in their care for dogs. From the moment you walk in, you can see how much love, integrity, and attention to detail goes into everything they do. The facility is always spotless—clean, sanitized, and impeccably maintained—which gives me peace of mind every single time. But what really sets them apart is how deeply they care about the dogs. They're not just reactive—they're proactive. Whether it’s keeping pups healthy, happy, or safe, they’re always a step ahead. The team genuinely loves what they do, and it shows in every interaction, every wagging tail, and every little thoughtful touch. What also stands out is their strong sense of ethics and honesty. They do things the right way—not because they have to, but because it’s who they are. That speaks volumes and builds real trust. I couldn’t be more grateful to have The Dog Den in my (and my dog’s) life. If you want a place where your dog is treated like family, this is it.

My pup has special needs. He was born with Spina Bifida and is incontinent. The staff at the Dog Den have made us feel very welcome and allow him to run diaper free. We boarded for the first time here last weekend. They went above and beyond with my requests to let him be diaper free all of the time and even bathed his back side each morning to make sure he didn’t get any sores while I was OOT! This is the first time since adopting Sig in November that he didn’t have sores when I left him for a long weekend. Just love the care he receives here.
