In Larchmont, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in New York, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Larchmont is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Larchmont follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We took our 6-month-old Goldendoodle to The Cut Above Pet Groomer today for a puppy cut, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! After a not-so-great first grooming elsewhere, we were a little nervous—but they completely exceeded our expectations. Our pup looks so handsome, and the care and attention they gave him really shows. The staff was kind, patient, and clearly experienced with young dogs. It made such a difference for both us and our puppy. We’re so happy with the results and are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

They had way too many dogs in cages all day when I had my dog there last week. Some seemed aggressive (barking and snarling) the couple times I came to check if my dog was ready. My dog had been there from 9am and she wasn’t even done at 5pm so she was stuck in a cage all day. I had to come back to get her later. When I got her she kept turning around suddenly to tend to her back leg. Like it was uncomfortable. I looked at it and it does look at little sore. Since then (a week ago) she’s refused to walk. I have to pick her up to carry her (which I’m not supposed to due to recent abdominal surgery) to go out. I called the vet and they suggested maybe an x ray but at a huge cost. I see she is able to walk around the house ok so I think some of this is emotional / anxiety from her experience with the dogs there that day and soreness on the skin. She’s now afraid to leave the home. The owners of the groomers had been on vacation and I think it was their first day back so they seemed to have overbooked.

To start off I was able to drop off my Toy Yorkie Lucky 5 minutes before 9 which was a huge help. I was greeted by a Professional, friendly staff. Lucky was there all day, they called when he was ready to be picked up. When I arrived lucky was calm and he looked so handsome, we will definitely be returning I made my next appointment on the spot. My wife and Daughter were so pleased with his haircut. I highly recommend The Cut Above
