Berkeley is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Berkeley follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Great daycare facility for dogs. My dog Ollie loves going to The Barkmont. The staff are great. They are friendly and truly love dogs. I am only comfortable leaving him with The Barkmont family when I need to have daycare for Ollie. Cannot recommend this facility enough. 10 stars - if that was an option.

The Barkmont always makes sure to take care of my pup. He goes in and comes away happy as a clam! The cameras are a nice feature of transparency that allows me to peek into the daycare life which reassuring. Overall I’d recommend for folks who work during the day and need a some daycare from time to time

Barkmont is far and away the best boarding and daycare I've used. Our dog has complex social anxiety issues, with related medication needs. The Barkmont team are kind, caring and patient with him, providing feedback on how he's doing. The Barkmont has become one of his favorite places that he gets genuinely excited to go to, which is a rarity for him. He loves the Barkmont team and we can tell they care about his happiness and long-term success. They've become a key part of his community, and I can't imagine his life without them. I cannot recommend Barkmont enough.

The team at the Barkmont is very caring and thoughtful. Our dog has stayed there half a dozen times for full or half-day daycare. The staff communicated with us about his needs and took excellent care of him when he had a health issue—even walking him to the veterinarian across the street for us when the issue arose. I highly recommend the staff and facility at the Barkmont.
