After much research on groomers, I took our 3 dogs here for nail trims. They accept walk-ins until 2pm every day! Although it's street parking, I was able to park right out front. Rowan, the sweetest young girl, was behind the counter to greet us as soon as we walked in. They took all 3 pups right away, no wait. Luke, one of the groomers (&possibly owner?) was extremely friendly and gladly agreed to add in a sanitary trim, aka a "Brazilian cut," for my long haired female pup, during her nail trim. I was very pleased w my experience here and will definitely be back.

We have gone sporadically to The Barking Lot for a couple of years now. There was a miscommunication with the preference card recently and I was less than pleased with the grooming service provided. However, when I called to discuss it with the owner, he was more than happy to help. He went through and investigated the situation/preference cards, did not blame it on staff, all while trying to provide the best customer service he could. They were able to fit my two dogs in last minute which I appreciated and they did an excellent job. Even if it was a sub optimal groom, having an owner who works with customers to try and navigate problems and make them right makes this business stand out. Thank you!

I brought both my cats in for grooming before guests arrived at my house for the weekend. Usually after grooming they hide for hours, but this time they seemed surprisingly comfortable afterward. The staff handled them gently and even separated them because one gets stressed by loud noises. Their coats felt soft and looked much healthier by the next day. Front desk communication could’ve been slightly quicker during check-in, but once the appointment started everything moved smoothly and professionally.

Love taking our dogs here. My fiancée Sam has been taking our pup pups adda and hampden for years. Love the staff and if they are busy just call them back in the early afternoons ! :) they come back looking like brand new sparkling dogs 🐶🐶💖

My 4 yr old miniature poodle has been very difficult with groomers since his first time. I decided to try The Barking Lot because the reviews mentioned difficult dogs doing well here. Not only did they do a fantastic job getting all his mats and hair off, they said he was very good! I did give him a vet recommended tranq (Tramadone) before we left home and I'm sure it helped but I've tried that before and his previous groomer still complained about his behavior. The people at The Barking Lot must have the right attitude and attention to relax him. I highly recommend them! Yes, he's cute with long hair, but so itchy and uncomfortable and matted everywhere. We've found our furever groomer! Thanks Barking Lot!
