About Tes's Pet Grooming Salon

Located at 1960 Carlisle Rd, York, PA 17408, Tes's Pet Grooming Salon operates as a pet groomer serving York in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In York, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Pennsylvania, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8:30 am–2:30 pm. It is closed on Friday, Sunday. On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 35 reviews, which is a strong result for a pet groomer in York and suggests consistent service.

York is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and York follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

They do not need you … lol!!!! They rule and have a ton of customers because THEY ARE LITERALLY HALF THE PRICE OF EVERYONE ELSE!!! I was lucky to be recommended to go there by folks at John C. Rudy who have been going there for THIRTY YEARS. I asked them why they are so cheap and they literally said “we want to be able to look our customers in the eye” If you are lucky enough to get an appointment with them considering their popularity KEEP IT AND TIP WELL! Because there are not many FAMILY business like them and they are just a mom and daughter and they truly love our dogs….

Professional, courteous and friendly. When Petco refused to groom our biter, Tes took on the challenge and we've had no problems ever since. They go out of their way to provide top notch service at an extremely reasonable price. We are forever grateful to Tes and Heather! Thanks

Tess and her assistant really are good groomers except - since the quarantine & they went back to work I think they're trying to make up for lost money because now they do a dog in an hour and the last two times my dog was there it was less quality than what they normally did. My dog wasn't bathed properly, his ears were still greasy, his feet still smelled like Fritos, and he just wasn't as clean as they previously did. I just get the feeling that they're trying to make up for the money that was lost during the quarantine. I understand that but not at the cost of doing a poor quality job. I think they're better than that but they're doing damage to their reputation. I have been to several groomers in the area and they were the best but now their quality is going downhill. I am not the only customer that feels this way. I just hope that they go back to how they were and stop rushing and doing halfway job.
