About TC Tails
TC Tails offers premium in-home dog boarding and dog daycare in Traverse City, MI. Your dog stays crate-free in a real home, not a kennel, with someone on site around the clock.
I bring 20+ years of experience caring for animals, and every new dog starts with an in-person meet and greet to ensure a good fit. Days include play, exercise in a fenced yard, and calm downtime at home. Our dog Charlie helps welcome new friends.
New weekly daycare clients have a 2-day/week minimum. One-time daycare is also available, booked in advance like boarding.
New clients: texting is the fastest way to reach us. Pricing, FAQs, and booking info are on our website.

Our Cavaliers love staying with Jared at TC Tails. We love knowing that they are cared for and happy. He is very easy to schedule and communicate with. We highly recommend it.

Our dog has stayed with Jared on two different weekends now and it’s been perfect. Jared is so great with communication. Our young dog is wonderfully tuckered out when she gets home as she gets a whole weekend of play with other dogs. Shes treated like family and well cared for. We’d recommend TC Tails to anyone.

Jared is amazing! I’m a crazy dog mom and he makes sure to be responsive and send me updates. One of my dogs needs allergy medication and he makes sure she gets her meds! We just moved to tc and he’s the only one I have felt comfortable leaving them with!

We LOVE dropping our dogs off at "Uncle Jared's"! Boarding with TC Tails is super flexible, and it feels like leaving your fur babies with a trusted friend, family member, or neighbor. They always have the best time and come back played out and happy. Being able to drop them off and pick them up at flexible dates + times (and sometimes for last minutes trips or emergencies), and then being able to leave them in a home environment, is so comforting for us and exactly what we need! We love TC Tails!

TC Tails is hands down the BEST for Traverse dog boarding and daycare. Both my boys absolutely love visiting for the day or longer stays and come home relaxed and tired. Jared is very responsive and flexible for drop off and pick up times. I never have to worry when I’m away and always grateful for the careful attention to the pups! A true “home away from home!”
