Tailored Tails Grooming

My “difficult” mini doodle puppy came back traumatized and lethargic. They said he was hard to groom, he came back not himself and threw up the next day. Shaking and flinching to movement by him. Called the business to complain, owner called me and said it was groomer shock. I said if my dog was that difficult then to stop the groom and call me. Never have I had issues like this before. Never taking him back there again.

I finally found a groomer that would be so understanding and willing to be so patient with my Peewee. He is an older dog and gets very dramatic when groomed. I appreciate the patience and kindness shown. I never imagined a groomer this great! Thank you!! We finally found our place 💙💙

I have been taking my 2 fur babies to Tailored Tails in Ogden for over a year now & have never had a bad experience. They always have opening’s within a few days & I feel like their pricing is pretty fair for a full grooming of doodles. They have had a couple different groomer’s which have all done a great job, but I have to give Shy the gal that has done their grooming the past like 3 times a shout out. I sent her a pic of what we like for each pup with certain detail’s for each one & she never disappoints. She didn’t tell me till after they were done & I came to pick them up that our pups didn’t have the same hair type as the pups in the pics but you wouldn’t know it cuz of her amazing talent & skill they matched up almost perfectly. They smell wonderful, look great & had no signs of being mistreated. Thanks Tailored Tails crew for being caring humans for these special animals in our lives.

Staff is very friendly, however, their dog grooming skills are atrocious. We dropped off two dogs and both came back with nicks, cuts, and scrapes on them. It was so bad that we had to wrap both dogs paws because they were bleeding between their toes. Their belly areas had road rashes from being shaved too short. One dog’s nose was shaved too close and ripped all his skin off. DO NOT take your dog here. We have taken our dogs here before and it’s been fine, but NEVER again. I’ve added a photo. It’s been about 3 weeks. You want this for your dog???? This is from shaving his nose (same w other areas) sooo short they cut his nose.

I took my Schnauzer sassy for a grooming and they always do a great job with her, Blue my husky/pitbull is a pain with nail trims and they were able to trim his nails for me which is a huge relief because in the past he has been aggressive with me when I tried to trim them myself. I’m so thankful for them I will be a repeat customer for my pups!
