TailWaggers has the best staff. Very patient with my ill behaved rescue dog. He has become more socialized as well as handsome. Very loving with my 14 year old too. I would recommend them to anyone.

I am honestly heartbroken writing this. We brought our golden retriever in for the first time for a bath and deshedding on 5/5, and my husband clearly asked for only a very light trim, specifically longer than their longest guard. Instead, they completely shaved him. His coat was beautiful and healthy, so seeing him shaved like this was shocking and incredibly upsetting, especially knowing that double coated breeds like goldens should not be shaved unless absolutely necessary. I’ve since read other reviews describing similar experiences, which makes this even more concerning. I understand mistakes happen, but this was a major one that could have long term effects on his coat. I would strongly urge other dog owners to be very cautious before bringing your dog here.

I never leave bad reviews, but this can't be let go. Now that I read the other reviews I'm not surprised. My doodle is completely shaved, even her tail. I understand if there is matting, but there may have been VERY little on her belly only. NOT the top of her head and tail!!! Embarrassment! If you can't handle Doddles, don't take them!!! $140 to butcher my dog! Never again!

We’ve been loyal customers for 5+ years and have left positive 5 star reviews in the past! We loved the old owners so much that even once we moved 6 hours away, we kept scheduling our dogs grooming around trips to visit family on the coast. We’ve now had grooming done 3 times since the new owner took over. And 2 of those 3 times, our dog has come back with cuts and scabs in her armpit/back of front leg area. Now I understand that sometimes accidents happen but I have never even been told there were any issues after an appointment. Scott (old owner) once cut one of my other dogs nail too short and he let me know right away, and didn’t charge for the nail cut. With these recent cuts being in a sort of hidden area, it’s only upon petting her that we’ve found them on our own. I don’t appreciate them trying to hide it instead of being upfront. Needless to say, we will not be returning. The new ownership and staff seems to be very inexperienced. Aside from the cuts we found, her hair cut was not done as well as previous visits and overall the new ownership and staff seems to be very inexperienced. Not gonna lie, I was worried with the transition of owners. Like every dog mom, I only want the best for my pup. The young people working the counter were nice & friendly, and the groomer came out to meet my girl. Afterwards, she looked beautiful! Me & my 4.5lb yorkie had a great experience with Tailwaggers under the new ownership. Inside looks a little different, but they still have a wonderful selection of treats, shampoos, and accessories.
