Tail Talk Grooming Salon

Certified dog groomer providing patient, stress-conscious, one on one grooming in Phoenix. Specializing in anxious dogs, puppies, doodles, de-matting, and personalized care.

Tail Talk Grooming Salon is a pet groomer in Tempe, Arizona. It is listed at 3030 S Rural Rd, Tempe, AZ 85282, which places it among the local businesses of Tempe that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

The business lists hours on 4 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 5:30–10 pm. It is closed on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Tempe is in Arizona, in the Southwest, where the desert climate brings very hot summers, mild sunny winters and the summer monsoon; outdoor businesses shift their hours toward early mornings and evenings in the hottest months. Getting around Tempe is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Arizona's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.
