Very kind to all animals, even kitties. Led us in the right direction and definitely helped with early core training. Not only puppy training but people training as well. Definitely worth it when you have a dog who’s going to be the size of a horse. (Great Dane owner)

Stephen and the entire crew at Swan Family Dog Training were great to work with and very patient with my stubborn Daisy Mae. Stephen took the time Daisy needed to make sure she learned. They treated Daisy like she was part of their family. Highly recommend the team and worth every penny.

I can't say enough good things about Stephen Swan. I rescued a very energetic, head strong dog and I was truly struggling to correct some bad habits of jumping up, play biting and general disregard for any type of correction. He met with me for a free consultation and after just that meeting I saw a change in my Goody Giant Schnauzer. He has a great set up, he made me feel at ease leaving my pup with him. He worked miracles with her and she absolutely adored him. Highly recommend him and am so grateful to him. He is the best.

had steven with swan family dog training recently do a board and train for my standard poodle Noble. I was very skeptical because I had already tried another board and train and had a very bad experience which set my dog back even further in her anxiety and behavior issues. It took me two years to try again . Steven was phenomenal though. I was amazed . I am very pleased with swan family dog training. My dog is a different dog. Before I couldn't take her out in public anywhere, and I couldn't have company over without dreading my dog's behavior. After spending time with Steven, she is not only well behaved, but calm and confident for the first time in her life. I am working up the funds to have my other dog trained by Steven at some point. He gains a connection with dogs immediately, is very relaxed ,and just has a way of getting them to understand what is expected . I would definitely recommend him. My big concern was that my dog would be traumatized in some way, or I would waste my money and she would come back still untrained and be too much to handle for me. but she actually looked forward to her training and seemed to enjoy it, and definitely came back with a clear understand

Wow! We inherited a dog from Stephen Swan. This dog is well behaved, easy to work with and enjoyable to have around. There are big things that make a difference: the dog doesn't pull on the leash when we're walking or running. She doesn't run away when I let her out to go potty. But it's the simple things too. The dog waits for permission to walk through a door and doesn't trip me. She waits for permission to get on the couch. We adore this dog, and we wholeheartedly recommend Steven's training. The peace of mind and environment we have in the house with this dog is worth the price!
