Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Indiana, and how long your pet will stay. South Bend is in Indiana, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and South Bend follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Came in 5/26, the lady was SO rude. Didn’t say a word to me when I walked in for my appointment for 10 min then 1st thing she said “he’s matted that’ll be extra.” Then said “shhh be quiet” to my dog. Not a single pleasant greeting, hi, hello, NOTHING. TERRIBLE customer service. Picked my doodle up he had a BLEEDING CUT above his eyebrow and bleeding on his ears she reported was from matting. Such disgusting customer service. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I drive a half hour (one way) every few weeks to get my dogs' nails trimmed by Jolene, and have been doing so for years. I literally pass other grooming salons to go to Sudzy Puppy, because they are that good. Our dogs aren't great and can get a little anxious/aggressive getting their nails trimmed. Jolene handles them so well and makes it as good of an experience as it can be with them. I can't recommend Sudzy Puppy enough!

Never taking my dog here again they over charged me to do her hair which is ridiculous. They text me this "For the basic bath, nail trimmed, ears cleaned and haircut on maintained coat it starts at $60. If she is matted and or has fleas it will go up from there. If she is a matted all over the total would be $80." My husband read this and said this is so unprofessional and I went anyways to drop my dog off and when I got there the lady was rude and trashing and told me it was going to cost 100 or over that but its crazy because the one in granger called Gordon's Grooming was only $80 and my dog was matted then. I would never come back here because of the attitude the lady had and I wouldn't even let her watch my kids or do my dogs hair again. Don't go here to here Gordon's Grooming.

The only place I trust with Gracie and Haven. They always come out looking amazing and their hair is curly. I’m always shocked at how beautiful they blow out Gracies hair! I’ve referred cinnamon, and even took one of the dogs we were babysitting for a while since the owner had passed away and the dog was so matted and they took her in super quickly and got her shaved down. I just took my moms 2 dogs to them there as well, I’ve referred multiple people there because they are THE BEST and super accommodating and helpful. Thank you! Forever a loyal customer to the two ladies that work there. 🩷🩷

Sudzy Puppy has been a lifesaver for me. My dog is very nervous about his nails, and had been kicked out of a couple of the big chain groomers. The ladies here have such patience and skill in caring for my scaredy-cat dog, and even have convinced him to let them use the electric file! They are kind and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend.
