Spot's Pet Supply & Dog Wash

I rarely leave feedback but I felt this was needed. Today was my first and last time in the store. Upon walking in a customer was coming out with his dog. Once in the store, the two ladies at the counter never acknowledged me as I was the only customer in the store. I came in looking for a shampoo and conditioner to help my dog with her itching and possibly wanted to book a grooming appointment for my baby. I wondered around until I found the shampoo which was right next to the check out counter. I stood there and stood there staring at the products, glanced over at the employees to see them whispering amongst themselves but never asked if I needed any assistance. I was there 3-5 minutes before I decided to leave…. On my way out I politely said “thank you for asking if I needed any assistance” the lady with the colorful hair replied “ well, did you”? I simply replied…doesn’t matter now as I exited the establishment.

I love this place. A little pricey but the dog wash stations are super convenient, as lomg as you can figure out the water/soap dispenser thing. I've been taking my dog here to get her nails trimmed for years. Im usually able to do walk-ins too but the groomer does leave every day promptly by 1 pm. Just a heads up.

I've been a customer at Spot's since I moved here over a year ago. I was always happy with their grooming of my dog as well as their customer service. Yesterday I had my Doodle groomed and noticed an extra charge of $20 dollars written on the bill. It said Doodle Fee. I asked the associate what that meant and she said oh it's just an extra fee for Doodles. I asked her why and she stated it's because they started getting so many in the store. So I said that makes no sense at all! It's just a grift then. She said not necessarily sometimes they are in bad shape. I said well Angus is not in bad shape. He is well taken care of and he is an easy groom. The groomer has told me that he is a very good boy and that he kisses her the entire time. I then told her there is a fee for de-matting so her explanation really makes no sense. I told her that I was not ok with paying the fee. I said I will have to take him somewhere else and she casually said "Ok". She then walked to the back and spoke to someone I guess. She didn't bring Angus and said "The Doodle fee has always been there and you just didn't see it." She also stated they went up on all their prices which I didn't care about at all. S

I always try and support local and small pet stores and we stopped in Spots while visiting Nashville with my Corgi. The Employee didn’t even acknowledge us. He was too busy scrolling social media in his phone. I’m not an expert but in 2026 small businesses like this have to really fight to keep the doors open against big box retailers. We would have easily spent $100 but took our business elsewhere.

Worst experience they injured my dog and send my dog home without telling me. PLEASE READ and be careful with your pups. On May 18, 2023, my two dogs were attended to at Spot Pet Supply. The groomer, arrived late and didn't come out to receive my dogs. I had to call her later to discuss the services. They didn't even have the decency to call me and ask how we wanted our dogs to be groomed. When my husband brought the dogs home, Martina started limping in pain and leaving bloodstains everywhere. We realized that she had a cut on her paw. I immediately went to the grooming business and asked the girl what happened. She claimed that she didn't notice anything, but it's completely untrue because she bled all over the floor of my house. I can't imagine how much she bled at the time of the cut. I quickly took her to Hillsboro Animal Hospital, where she received emergency care. After the medical intervention, I brought the receipt to the business, and the manager said they would speak to the head manager and reimburse me for the medical expenses. May 25, 2023, and I had to go to Green Hills Spot Pet Supply again to ask for a resolution to this situation. They couldn't resolve it because t
