About Spawtlight Dog Salon & Spa

Located at 915 E St, San Diego, CA 92101, Spawtlight Dog Salon & Spa operates as a pet groomer serving San Diego in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

We have been taking our dog here for many years! She is now 16 years old and we really appreciate the team at Spawtlight being patient with her and making her look fresh after each visit. Highly recommend!

This review is long overdue! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Spawlight. They always do a beautiful job with my Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. The girls come home looking absolutely adorable, and it is clear they are treated with such kindness and care while they're there. What means the most to me is how excited my dogs are every time they arrive. They happily run in and are genuinely happy to see the staff, which gives me so much peace of mind. As any dog owner knows, there is no better endorsement than a dog who can't wait to go back. The quality of the grooming is consistently excellent, and I recommend this place to everyone I know.

It was my puppy’s first time getting groomed and they did an amazing job. I was able to get a same-day appointment right before I had to leave out of town which helped out a lot. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much for all you do!

I just moved to the area and found Spawtlight through a google search of my local area. I’m so particular about where I bring my pup and they did a phenomenal job. I haven’t stopped recommending them to friends with dogs. When I pick him up he feels so fresh and plush, they listened perfectly to my request not to cut him too short which I was afraid of, having a Pom. Couldn’t be happier, it’s most definitely our new spot.

Great groomer!! She always takes care of my pup and actually listens to what I want and follows through! Previous groomers I’ve been to don’t cut my dog the way I request and pay for so it’s been frustrating trying to find a groomer that doesn’t do whatever they want with my dog. This was the first place I tried since moving to San Diego and they’ve been great and take care of my 15 year old PomChi with care! Never had any issues with cuts or razor burns or anything of that nature.
