In Media, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Pennsylvania, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Do not start taking your dog here. I had been going for over 5 years. They called me day before my appointment to tell me my groomer no longer is working at Sit Stay Spa. First I don’t have a groomer. I didn’t care who groomed my dog as I assumed all were properly trained. They called to cancel on April 27. They said they would call back in a day or two to reschedule. Still waiting for call. I will never return and make it my goal to put them out of business.

Subject: Formal Complaint and Request for Explanation and Reimbursement To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally report a serious incident involving my Chow Chow during her grooming appointment on March 24, 2026, at your facility. At drop-off, my dog was ambulatory, stable, and at her normal baseline despite her age. Shortly after her scheduled appointment time, I received a call from your staff stating that grooming services could not be completed. No clear explanation was provided at that time. Upon picking her up, I observed that my dog was in significant distress and was unable to ambulate normally. She required assistance to move from the car into my home and, over the following seventy-two (72) hours, was unable to walk more than a few feet without marked difficulty. This represents a sudden and severe decline from her pre-appointment condition. I am particularly concerned about the possibility that my dog may have fallen or been allowed to jump from a grooming table (approximately four feet in height), resulting in acute injury. I was not informed of any such incident at the time of pickup. Additionally, my dog was returned to me wet, shedding excessively, and

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. I was honestly shocked by what I witnessed. I overheard the manager speaking to an employee in a way that was incredibly condescending and disrespectful. The tone was harsh and demeaning — no one deserves to be spoken to like that at their workplace. It created such an uncomfortable atmosphere, and it honestly made me question how this establishment is run. When leadership treats staff poorly, it reflects on the entire business. On top of that, the services are overpriced for the level of professionalism displayed. Overall, the experience left a really bad impression. Would not recommend.

Customer warning I’ve been a client here for four years. We come every 6 to 8 weeks and pay $130 each time Tonight when I went to pick up my dog, they told me they don’t want me coming back. Here’s the story. When I dropped him off today, they asked me if I wanted them to do what he normally gets done. I said actually the last time his hair was a little long in the front and I would like his ears to be blended a bit more. Then they told me that it would be about four or five hours. I paused, and I thought that was a really long time. How are his knees going to do? He has two luxated patellas. And I thought he hadn’t pooped today. So I asked them if there was anyway they could make it closer to four hours rather than five. They explained they had 20 dogs in that day, with two groomers. So I said OK and I said well if possible, If you could make it closer to four, I would appreciate it. I understand I know you’re busy. And then I left and went back to work. Side note unsaid to the groomer- I have a terrible cold. I had a family tragedy recently.. I’m exhausted. I get the phone call to come pick them up so I do. That’s when the young lady tells me that she doesn’t want us to co
