We are new customers with a 2.5 yr old female Great Dane. She is a big, loveable, goofball, like most of her breed, but she absolutely, PAWSITIVELY (pardon the pun) will NOT allow her nails to be trimmed. We've tried multiple groomers and 2 veterinarians. She's not aggressive...she just turns into a giant bucking bronco as soon as the clippers come out...even though we've never actually been able to actually clip her nails! It's like other dogs told her what they were at the dog park or something. Anyhoo, the wonderful groomers (ALL of them, it sounds like!) were able to WWE her onto the floor and successfully completed a full trim of all of her nails. So I'd like to extend a Great Dane sized THANK YOU to the staff of Shampoochies for helping us avoid a potentially dangerous anesthesia-requiring veterinarian trim!! We'll see you again soon!

Audrey is amazing with my Bestie, Marley-Bean, a Toy Poodle. She always listens and understands what I'm asking for & does such adorable groomings for him at very reasonable prices, depending on his needs. ShamPoochies & Audrey are my forever fur-baby's spa & grooming go-to place. Our experience started rough, our first appointment they argued with us on our dogs vaccination records even though they were up to date. Like not debated bur argued and were very rude. But we were new to the area and our guys needed groomed. However, we still kept going back. NOT ANYMORE. Our poor boy is immunosuppressed so we have had a lot of medical issues with him. Most recently he developed a hot spot on his back. After almost a month being followed by the vet and hundreds of dollars in medications his hot spot was finally healing. That was until we took him to Shampoochies for a groom. Either they don't have proper knowledge on how to treat dogs with hot spots or they ignored me when I said both my dogs needed to go in their own kennels as our other dog will obsessively lick the spot and make it worse. The hot spot looks terrible, feels like we are back at square one. Needless to say, I am feeling defeated in the treatment of my dog and we will not be returning.

We got our cat groomed for the very first time due to some serious dandruff and itching. Shampoochies was able to use the prescription shampoo provided by our vet, and treated “Bug” with love while he was there! I was so worried about this experience causing him stress, but he was so calm when I picked him up. He has been loving his hair cut and can’t wait to go back! 😁
