Everyone who volunteers and works at Saving Paws was so patient with us! We went to Saving Paws with one dog in mind. When we got there, we met the dog, Lucy, and also got to look around and meet any other dog we were interested in. Kari was very knowledgeable about each dog and let us take as much time as we needed to spend with each dog. Kari told us we could go home and decide overnight since it was a lot to take in after meeting 3 dogs. We informed her of our decision the next day that we would like to adopt the dog we were originally interested in. Kari was at a grooming appointment and Ruth and Jeremy were working that day. They let us play with Lucy again for 30 minutes before we officially adopted her. They brought in a puppy to show us how Lucy was with other dogs and answered any lingering questions we had. They also offered to contact the Texas shelter where Lucy came from and find out any extra information they may not know if we had more questions. Overall it was a positive experience. Lucy was also due on her heartworm and flea/tick preventative and they gave us the preventatives needed to her to tie her over until we could get her into a vet. We never felt the press

Easiest, best experience adopting our sweet Phoebe. She is the best dog - the adoption process was super quick and easy. Phoebe came fully vaccinated & spayed + microchipped. This shelter really cares for their animals and we are so thankful for our sweet pup. Happy her adoption fee went towards helping the other animals at the shelter. Thank you!!!
