San Diego Grooming Academy

San Diego Grooming Academy is a one of a kind dog grooming school that sits in the heart of North Park in San Diego, CA. San Diego Grooming Academy was founded in 2016; however, our company’s history supersedes our school’s establishment. Ensuing several decades of prosperous, multi-platform entrepreneurship with consistent ascendance across the arts, Myke Ross (our founder) discovered his greatest passion working with animals through the art of professional pet grooming.

Located at 3805 Utah St, San Diego, CA 92104, San Diego Grooming Academy operates as a pet groomer serving San Diego in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as pet supply store, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

In San Diego, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in California, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 9 am–5 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (619) 452-2366. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, sdgroomingacademy.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 102 reviews, which is a strong result for a pet groomer in San Diego and suggests consistent service.

San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Diego follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.
