I adopted my little guy from this shelter, his intake was 11/19/25, I got him on 12/4/25, poor little guy had no interests when I called, he is now living in sunny San Diego with his older bro, playing and running on the beach and is just the sweetest. Please be more compassionate with this shelter, these guys are doing the best they can with the resources they have. Spay/neuter, adopt and don't shop. If everyone would do this and backdoor breeders would get severe fines/shut down it would be better for everyone. Before and after pictures of my little guy.

I just went to have a meeting and greet with a dog I saw online. It was my first time going there. Everyone was really nice. I just felt heartbroken with how many dogs are actually there. I've had 2 other rescues and my most recent one just passed away. It was time to go rescue another. I ended up adopting a beautiful shepherd. He's a 6 month old puppy. I'm thinking of coming back for another one if I can. Maybe in a few months. But please if you can please adopt those animals need homes!!! I'm still thinking of a name 🤔

My family and I had a wonderful experience at this shelter. We were looking for a new doggie since 2 of our beloved pets had passed away this year. The staff was kind, caring, and genuinely helpful in helping us make our decision between 2 doggies. We ended up picking this guy who is now named Checkers. As you can see, he is now safe, happy, and extremely grateful. We love him so much. A huge thanks to all that made this possible. ❤️

The sad part is I found a stray, super friendly, and lost dog. Because of my circumstances, I couldn't bring this precious dog into my home and care for it. I called the animal shelter in san bernadino, and they were very friendly. When I got there, they immediately helped this doggie, checked for a micro chip, registered this precious dog, and welcomed him. They took him from my arms and treated him love and care. I really appreciated the warmth they brought and the energy not treating him like a number. Along with the other dogs, they were clean and healthy. You can tell they work as a team to care for these lost dogs.
