Door greeters,pick up staff, and most other employees inside have always been pleasant. Cafe is an entirely different story and very consistent in the subpar experience they deliver. Customer service is routinely lacking and pizza is old 10/10. Parking lot is also terrible and dangerous. Genuinely dislike coming because of parking alone and get delivery every chance I can instead.

When I first walked in the door today I was greeted by Tricia who was friendly and said it’s a good day for scan and go! (It slipped my mind it was tax free weekend and it was PACKED). I came to this location because it had the robot vacuum I wanted for a great price. I didn’t see any boxes on the ground so I asked associate Josh for help. He was kind enough to explain to me how to get one. (The store said there was 11). Even tho if I had taken a minute I could have seen the sign that said “please take one” and I would have had my answer. As I was headed to the front I saw someone with a clipboard and just knew they could help me. Shalique was kind, knowledgeable and compassionate when I told her I was about to have a panic attack from all the people and not knowing the store. I usually go to Belton because it’s closer for me, but they didn’t have the vacuum. She explained she sent a drop team to grab the pallet and I could go back to wait on the product. Shalique also took the time to explain how to get back out of there! Josh was a part of the drop team that helped load the vacuum into my cart. So kind. I've been a Sam's plus member for years. But I'm pretty disappointed with the way things have been lately. They used to have free delivery for Plus members. But then they turned it around and said you had to spend $50 or more to get the free delivery. And that's after I already paid for the Sam's Plus membership. And then they turn around yesterday and send me an email with the special on a four burner griddle from member's Mark. Then I get an email after they've already charged me for it saying that that part of my order was canceled. Because they didn't have any in stock. But yet they have them in other stores but they will honor that price. So it don't make no sense to me how they can't make it right or even that they sent me the email in the first place when they didn't have enough in stock anyway. I've been waiting for the longest time to get a griddle and they finally send me a price that I can afford. When I order it they canceled it, I call about it and they say they can't get anymore because it's a summer item. But yet the other store up in North Kansas City on North oak has it in stock but won't sell it for that price because it ain't the same store I think I might just b

There was only on checkout line with a person at it and there was a massive line no employees to help. Prices are good though but checking out took like 20 minutes before we even got to start having our items scanned. Finally the manager brought a few other employees after we stood in line with like 8 other people for a while.

I went to Sam’s today, April 19 to exchange an item that I purchased yesterday. This was a food item that when I opened the box the package had a hole. I specifically stated to customer service that I just wanted to switch out the item for a new one. He insisted on providing me with a gift receipt so I could go grab the item and check out at the register and it would be an even exchange. This was the only thing that I got, scanned my item and owed additional money.(very minimal) The item was exactly the same thing. I called someone over whom then got the manager on duty who I believe his name to be Mohamed. He did not make good on this purchase, did not apologize as I was just there yesterday, inconvenienced by needing to drive back to exchange the exact same item that was DAMAGED and proceeded to tell me that taxes increased overnight and I owed the difference. THIS WAS AN EVEN EXCHANGE. Horrible horrible customer service as Sam’s Club should have made right on this. Mohamed has absolutely no idea what the meaning of providing good customer service means. It cost me more in gas and the value of my time then what I owed and it should have been an even exchange.I have a Sam’s and
