About Ruff Ruff Paradise Pet Care & More

Located at 13389 Murphy Rd, Stafford, TX 77477, Ruff Ruff Paradise Pet Care & More operates as a pet groomer serving Stafford in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as cat boarding service, dog park, dog walker, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 9 am–4 pm. It is closed on Sunday. I have a 10 year old maltipoo that is normally groomed every 2 months without any issues at previous places. My maltipoo has only been here twice and recently I am incredibly concerned by my experience at Ruff Ruff Paradise. Despite him being a well-behaved dog, the groomer insisted he required 'heavy, sleeping-level sedation' to be groomed, claiming he was uncooperative. She claimed she has a note in the system indicating that he needs sedation but when I picked him last grooming, she said he did well. What is most alarming is the inconsistency: she told me he needed this level of sedation on a Saturday, but claimed he wouldn't need it if I came on a weekday. This makes no sense and suggests either that the salon is overbooked and looking for reasons to turn away dogs, or they are dangerously mishandling the issue of pet sedation. To make matters worse, she also suggested sedation for my mother’s 12 lb senior dog. As someone who has used a dozen groomers over the years due to relocating, I have never been told my dog required sedation. Please be extremely cautious—never allow a grooming salon to pressure you into sedating your pet, especially a senior one. Any sedation should on

I took my pup here because my mother-in-law recommended them—she’s been taking her dog for grooming for a while, so I decided to try them out. When I dropped my pup off, I should’ve known something was wrong because he started trembling, but since they came recommended, I went ahead and left him. My son picked him up later since I was at work, and he couldn’t believe how badly they had left him. The haircut was terrible—there was hair everywhere, they didn’t even brush him, and he still had tangles. His legs still had long hairs, and overall it looked unfinished. I didn’t take pictures of the full cut, but I’m attaching a picture of his face. Never again. My dog didn’t act right for a couple of days afterward. I will NEVER be coming back. Yes, the price is cheap, but at what cost?

Ruff Ruff did a great job with grooming 2 fur babies today. The schnoodle got a schnauzer face with very sharp-looking eyebrows, and the Maltichon got a teddy bear haircut. What I appreciated most was that the groomer listened to my request for a wide, oval muzzle for my Maltichon (his muzzle been cut too pointy and fox-like in the past) and a nice rounded head. The nails were also nicely clipped short, and the hair between the paw pads was well clipped/shaved, as was the sanitary area. Ears were also cleaned. (I have a checklist because with a previous groomer, things got missed/forgotten/half-done.) NB: my doggie's hair was pretty long, and before the groom, Angela ran a steel comb through his hair to check for mats & tangles. $45 for small, < 20 lb dogs (for credit cards, add 3%) and sales tax, obviously). Prices are on their website, and I like the transparency. Also, as other reviewers have mentioned, the owner Angela is a very kind person. (I like supporting businesses run by nice people.) These pictures are three days after the doggies' haircuts. The maltichon's "blow-dry" is still holding, as evidenced by the straight fluffiness on the top of his head. The mini schnoodl

Not happy with dog grooming. Now that they are busier, they don’t listen to instructions for grooming. My dog was all choppy looking, especially under his tail and shaved down to the skin in strip next to his face.Apparently they used my lease during grooming and allowed my dog to neatly chew through it. After I pointed out all these mistakes, they just say …. So sorry. 🤬 I have been there twice before, yet they were unable to find my pet in their records.(like other posts I read) I had also referred my neighbor who took her dog there just 2 days earlier, they did not give her the 10% discount for new customers, (as advertised on their website) nor did I get a referral discount. I certainly won’t refer anyone else there.

I was in search for a groomer in my area and came across RRPPC in a Google search. Read the reviews and decided to try them... They are ABSOLUTELY amazing! Professional and thorough! I got there, filled out the forms and before the attendant took Bailee to the back, she went over the price, what they offer and how I wanted my pet groomed. I left and before I could get off the street, I received a call. She (forgive me for not knowing her name) told me that she felt a different cut would work better for Bailee... She mentioned how often to groom and also said she would check her glands to see if I could go longer to save money (gotta love a facility that wants to save me money). I dropped Bailee off at 10am and she was done by 1:15pm! She looks and smells delightful! I will be a forever customer! I'm also considering letting her go half days (ONLY $10!!!) a day or two a week just to run and play in order to release all that puppy schnauzer energy! lol
